Great course to play
First time to play here. I thought the course was in great shape. Greens were excellent. Will be one of my favorite places to play.
5 And 1/2 Hour Round
Played on a beautiful Saturday afternoon so was not surprised to see lots of golfers. Was not expecting to have to wait on 3 fivesomes that were sent out directly in front of us.
Thank you for reviewing the course. We apologize for the delay of play during your round. This is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. With an uncharacteristically full day, we work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and allow our guest the chance to complete their rounds. With that in mind, we are working to best control pace and allow everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. We will continue to look for ways to improve. We caught the course it excellent condition. The greens were smooth, fast, and rolled true. Fairways (as usual) offered great lies. We set our own pace. All for only a $25-discounted rate.

EXTREMELY SLOW PLAY AND NO CART SERVICE
Tee time 10:16 AM left course at 2:56 PM after playing hole #15. Projected for 18 holes that is over 5 and 1/2 hours to enjoy golf under the Texas sun, temp in the 90's No cart service on a very hot day. While leaving the course stopped a staff member (first seen all day) and he way quick to offer excuses for the slow play, nothing of value. The last time we played this course we were the first off and finished in under 3 hours.. It is not something I intend to do again, and I will be happy to tell my friends about this. Note course is only 4 miles from my house

Great round
The course was in great shape. The greens were fantastic. Totally getable. The layout is pretty simple. Most of the danger is visible, except for a couple holes. Playing it again I would defiantly approach a couple holes differently. Overall very nice course and good value. The pace was a little slow, but not terrible for a Sunday morning.

Great place to play

Good layout.
For 60 on a weekend and being a week after aeration it was in good condition. Greens a little slow but in a few weeks this place should be in top shape. We went off about 30 minutes after the first tee time so pace wasn’t a issue but clubhouse told us not to be shy about calling in slow play. A few difficult holes but the makes you think and use a lot of different clubs. Bunkers in great shape and overall worth the money.

Good challenge
I enjoyed the course. Plenty of penalty but fair. Fairways were excellent. Greens were slow. An excellent teat of golf.

Solid course - Saturday pace was frustrating
Course was in normal shape -so typically good. Staff is always friendly. The downside was the pace of play. Granted it was Saturday - but I left after 15 holes. There were three groups on every hole on the back nine and a wait of 10 minutes on each tee. There was no Marshall AND THERE WAS NO CART GIRL!
Watters Creek is always a go-to course for me - nice value and layout - but I've learned my lesson about playing in the afternoon.

Disappointed
Very nice course with some beautiful hole layouts. Only complaint is that our threesome was harassed by an old man in a foursome (behind us).... That is a course marshal the weekends at Watters Creek! He complained about our pace of play. If he had any shred of intelligence, he would've known we had a foursome playing in front of us.... Can't make this stuff up. Contemplating on never coming back to Watters Creek. Which is too bad. Very nice course.

Course in very good condition.
The greens were in very good condition - the fairways were in good shape - as were the tee boxes. They are growing lots of grass.
