Tough Day Putting
We had difficulty making putts of any length today. Although reasonably smooth, they were tough reads. All said, it was a great day of golf on one of our favorites.

Great Golfing at Watters Creek
Great facility. Fair rates at normal price around $50 per person. Can get some rounds at discounted prices on some days. I'm a new golfer so I found the course a bit challenging, but not sure my opinion means much since I've only played two courses total. They have great chipping practice area and driving range. Also have a 6-hole "short course" to practice with high irons and putter as well as 18-hole course. I joined practice plus program to have unlimited access to driving range, short course and chipping are for a fixed monthly price. Course 10 minutes away from most of Plano, TX. Highly recommend.
Disappointed
Overpriced and overrated. The senior rate should be $25 M-F like other daily fee courses in DFW (Lake Park, Plantation, etc...).
great course; slow play
course keeps improving but pace of play remains an issue regardless of the day or weather. need marshalls to move folks along.

Great course
We played The Traditions at The Couses at Watters Creek. I really like the design layout and the staff is friendly and professional. The course is always in great shape. *The Players 9 hole course is a fun test as well.

Slow play, unfriendly staff, poor conditions
The course is playing very slow abs there are no Marshall to move people along. You are looking at a minimum of 5 hour round. The staff lacks the consideration of the situation and not accommodating. Will avoid playing there in future unless improvements are made in key areas.

Paid and didnt play
I showed up 10 mins before my tee time to the tee box, they were behind. Had a group of 2 (part of a tournament) getting ready to tee off. Then there were 2 group of 5 (ladies each) waiting to tee of before me. I'd have teed off probably 30 mins late, and would have been cursing myself for standing around waiting and playing a 5.5 hr round on a weekday. Talked to the pro shop guy (was very friendly) playing their par 3 course...oh well. Poor experience overall.

Sloooooooooooow Course
I’m extremely disappointed after playing this course. The pace of play is 6 hours. I called the pro shop to express my concern about the 2 groups in front of me. No action. No marshal. I will not return and strongly encourage other golfers to explore other golf options in DFW.

Love this course
This course has been a treat every time i get to play it. There are no two holes alike and it is nice to have some wooded areas unlike many other golf courses in the area. The greens are always rolling nice (sometimes way too fast) and the fairways/tee boxes are in good shape. In the winter they have painted greens which helps. I definitely recommend playing here.

Fix the pace of play
The course is nice & the practice area is great. The pace of play is just awful. This was my 3rd time to play Watter's Creek & it has been extremely slow every time. You will have to wait on almost every tee box, so it is difficult to stay in rhythm. Once the Marshall came by to say it was slow, and nothing could be done... He was the one person who could actually do something about it! It's going to be a 5 to 5 & 1/2 hour round at least. Factoring in warm up & drive time you're likely not going to do anything else with your weekend day. I will say again that the practice area is very nice, so you could improve your short game there.
No Sunday play at afternoon.
Mashall was on duty but nothing halp for slow play...
We quitting play at 15th holes and several group was quits too in front of us due to wasting time and getting dark soon...
"Ind.." (?) group tour players was slow ... feel so bad this courses.
Starter said "no group play on Sundays" held for tee up..

Please Move Along
The Courses at Watter's Creek are really good. Course seems to drain well. All aspects of the course are commendable. Not sure who to complain to though. We average making an 18 round in about 3 hours. However, today a tournament we were unaware was being played in front of us, caused a 5 hour round. I made our reservations on Golf Now. Tee time notes said nothings about a tournament being played that teed right in front of our tee time.
Would have been nice to know. Many times, even when not using Golf Now, but just reserving directly with the course, one is not informed of tournaments being played. Again, sure would be nice.
