The golf course at the Arrowhead Golf Club has been declared the top public course in Denver in the past by Golf Digest, as well as one of the top 75 public courses in the nation. The towering red sandstone rock formations are a trademark of the course, providing a unique and beautiful atmosphere, which is further enhanced by the abundant wildlife that have made the course their home. The rolling terrain provides elevation changes and undulation to the greens. Water hazards and bunkers also come into play on the course. Arrowhead Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th hole. It is a steep, downhill hole with scenic views.

Very Nice Views

Course was in great shape and is challenging from back tees. Greens not as fast as you would expect from a course you pay $120.00 to play. Thank goodness I got a hot deal for $69.99. I wouldn't pay $120 to play this course. There are better courses in the area for less money. It does have great views and some very interesting holes. Buy your coffee before you get there. Coffee is $2.50 for 10oz cup and is not very good. I do like the course I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

Wonderful Views, Challenging Course

I like to get out to arrowhead at least once a year (usually in the off season because it can get very pricey). The views of the red rocks are amazing and the wild life is abundant. In addition, the course is very fun with many risk/reward holes and tons of elevations change. Holes 10 (pictured) and 13 are two of my favorite holes in Colorado.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the course conditions were in April.

Nice course slow play.

I love going to this course it is by far the most scenic in Colorado. But the course played at 5 1/2 hrs. Maybe the tee times need to be spaced out more. Also $150 a player is a little steep for me. They get away with it though because I still go back every year.

Soectacular views and scenery

Best views I've ever seen, any place, hands down . Course is in excellent condition, greens beautiful as well. That being said, layout is a bit repetitive and some holes don't set up well- have to lay up even with good drive. Also, very long par 3s from forward tees. Go for the experience of being there and enjoy every second of it.

The most beautiful course in the Denver Area

The course was in great shape. The greens were like warped pool tables. The rough was long, making it difficult to find balls, and to hit them out of it. The driving range is short, so you really cannot practice anything but irons.

my brother in law from Arizona came to visit we saved the scores for last. Yes it was the best we were definitely would play again. Next year we will play all three rounds at this course arrowhead. I live in the Denver area we were playing they had a golf tournament before us I was about 10 yards short from the long drive I think I will have to try a tournament sometime. Thanks arrowhead golf course it was a pleasure. RICH

Fantastic Scenery

Incredible scenery at this place. My only real complaints are the weak driving range (180 yards, irons only) and the price.

A course worth it's fees

Playing this course was everything I expected it to be and much more. Hidden in the rocks surrounded by wealth this course is worth the high fees to play it. From the moment you drive up your mesmerized by beauty of nature. Every where you look it seems to be some kind of animal be it a deer or mountain lion or maybe some huge bull frogs in some of the ponds along the course.
The facilities are very well maintained and they have a good staff that are friendly and take of business. Some things are kinda weak considering the price and the course for instance putting green kinda small and the driving range only offered mats and was only 180 yrds longs couldn't even practice with the driver, but you get unlimited balls with the price. Other than those two things I can't complain much. The fairways and greens were so green and well maintained. Carts have GPS and are gas powered and come with a small cooler on the side for drinks, and they give you tees in the cart.
Overall this is one of Colorado's most scenic courses and I highly recommend if your in Denver area and only have one chance to play this is the course you should play at any cost. PS I lost 12 balls cause I was having a bad day hooking the ball. Good luck and I recommend you hit very straight or bring a lot of balls there are a lot of tall grass near the fairways.

Greats views that inhibit layout and conditions

The views at Arrowhead are tremendous for Front Range golf. Unfortunately, the layout gets a bit compromised with some really tricked up golf from tee to fairway. The course was in OK condition but for the price I would have expected much better. Greens were true but very slow and fairways were pretty long as well. For the price I would expect more Country Club conditions versus a municipal approach to course conditions.

Beautiful Scenery, Good Golf

Amazing views of the Red Rocks and the conditioning was top notch. We got snowed out after 4 holes, but luckily the staff let us go out on number 10 so we got to experience the holes within the rocks. I would recommend the course highly and make sure to bring your camera!

Beautiful course

A very picturesque course. There are a couple blind holes and the GPS doesn't give distances to bunkers or hazards. Nice layout that is challenging. I would love to play it again.
