Barnehurst Golf Club

Course needs a bit more work to be done, simple things like markers on the tee and the greens need a bit of work done on them but overall I enjoy the layout of the course.

I’ve played here many times but there is never no upkeep of the fairways or sometimes the greens. It’s a shame because money has been spent on the clubhouse and the range but nothing on the upkeep of the course, which is a shame. I fear this place will get sold and houses/apartments will get built on it.

Sort it out American Golf!

the tees were all in a poor state and some of the greens needed some work. but it’s cheap, so you get what you pay for. is a nice short course and no gimmicky holes. club house sells good breakfast too

I haven’t played this 9 hole course for a few years, I now know why!!!!

The T boxes looked like waste ground!! No distinct areas marked out!

The fairways are below average.

And for the greens……. 90% of them were patchy dead grass with chunks of grass missing.

Finally, if you want to share a golf course with the public walking dogs who attempt to run off with your ball!!! Then this is the course for you!!

NEVER PLAYING HERE AGAIN!!

The driving range is awful,, screens not working, no tees, lots of broken balls that can’t be used. Greens aren’t great, could do with some attention. No tee boxes so broken tees everywhere. Spoke with some of the regulars who state there is a stand off between American Golf and the council. Staff were really friendly,

This course is very badly cared for. All T boxes are basically barents of any grass and strewn with broken tees. There are no boxes to put broken tees in. All of the greens are in terrible condition and you cannot putt on them. The bunkers do not have rakes and there is no marshals on the course so you see people jumping on, sharing clubs and generally having no golf etiquette. It's a real shame as it has the potential to be a nice little 9 hole course.

I don’t think I have ever played a golf course in such poor condition. It clearly hasn’t been looked after. You think the fairways are bad but then you step on to the green. Truly awful and will not be coming back for £20 a pop (9 hole). Get more out of going to a local driving range.

Most fairways dried out and such a lack of care to fairways and greens.

Terrible.

Small cramped and always other people on your hole playing against you.

Recommend only if you have no other option or just don't mind waiting all the time. Yes we are beginners but you sense the lack of care by the company.

The tee boxes on most holes need work along with all the greens. Most green have patches of grass missing and are cracked. The fairways are in decent condition.

Haven't played here since it changed hands . The fairways were good but a lot of the greens were not in good condition. A lot af this I put down to people playing it as people don't seem to bother repairing their pitch marks.

Nice local club, fair course, would love to play there more but pension doesn't stretch that far, wish the membership was cheaper.

The course is in a bit of a state all the tee boxes are ruined and you cannot place a tee! Three tee box’s are just sand and dirt with no flat ground to take your tee shot!

Rough is far too overgrown and most of the greens are ruined with massive divots and dead grass
