Good for solo practice or people new to the game
Staff were friendly. I was going to rent a trolley as I was doing the course twice for 18 holes but it was closed and they turned up just before I teed off.
The tee boxes need some major work. Holes range from 80-100m so you only really need wedges but the tee boxes were like hitting off concrete. The artificial grass needs replacing.
The fairways are in good condition but 50% of the greens need some work too.
Most putts are straight forward but hole 9 is the most challenging
Poorly maintained, very tough for beginners
Not really for beginners at all - tiny greens that aren’t in great shape and protected by long rough around and sometimes even in front of the green. Would be very easy to lose balls even when just off the green. Tee matts were very ropey as well - hard to hit off and not making for an easy round. Much better par 3 courses in the area.
Great little course
First time playing the course and thought it was great for practicing your approach play. Nice range of distances and most holes had bunkers protecting the green. Greens are small so again makes great practice for dialing in your approach play
Great for beginners
Paul (The owner) is a lovely guy! Very understanding. I was a member here for the past year as it was on my doorstep and I was brand new to golf looking to just get used to hitting the ball. My first ever experience was surreal because I just thoroughly enjoyed being on the course and for a beginner who was just trying to learn the little things it was a perfect course! As time went on the course got a lot less challenging for me and I started to notice the little things like the fairways, roughs and greens not being maintained to a perfect standard that I would've loved! (I do partially put this down to fellow players not fixing their ball marks and divots though!) That's truthfully the main reason for me to give this a very mid review. That being said I've very much had some of my favourite moments since playing golf on this course and I have very much enjoyed playing here for the past year, I just hope and pray that the little things get improved so that when I do return again one day (hopefully with my kids) the course will be miles better than it is now as it really does have potential to be.

Lovely challenging 3 par course
The course is a par 3, which is laid out to provide an enjoyable round of golf. The course has real character and is set in a pleasent setting with lovely veiws.
Paul Page a former Walker Cup international is the course professional, who ensures that golfers have a great experience at Princess park.
Whether you are a beginner or intermediate golfer this course is well worth a visit.
