Perfect - little gem

Wow.

Struggling to come up with 1 single negative to say about this course.

Just had a fantastic day out at Boston Golf Club. The course was in stunning condition considering the dry summer. I know we have had a bit of rain in the past few weeks but this course was in almost perfect condition.

Tees - brilliant, bit of wear and tear but nothing more than you'd expect after a hard summer

Fairways - faultless

Bunkers - only went in 1 and that was after a deluge of rain so cant comment but they looked good and seemed to have a fair bit of sand in them

Surrounds - perfect

Greens - perfect. Green, ran true and were quick

Very good layout, holes run in all different directions. Good driving range for a pre round practice. Nice practice chipping area and a small but perfect putting green next to the 1st tee.

Clubhouse is a decent size, good food offering and nice selection of beers. Lovely outside area where you can watch players finish on the 18th

If I was looking to join a club (if I played enough) id join here asap.

Better than ever

Boston GC is improving, the course is playing well and is being maintained to a high standard.The layout is very good, each hole playing in a different direction to the previous one.It takes some working out and more than one visit to really appreciate, but this is one of the best parkland courses in Lincolnshire.

Very friendly, unpretentious and affordable, especially on a weekday afternoon.

Should have mentioned the temp greens before I booked

Wired place. Some really beautiful holes but some really shocking conditions on others.

I can imagine in the spring it’s really nice but the course should have mentioned the temp greens instead of letting me stroll on (pro shop was closed early and had to trouble a member for the low down).

I booked a 10:30 tee time through GolfNow only to be pushed to 11:00 when I arrived due to BRS not bring in sync with their system, I was told.

So there I was behind a roll up that was the slowest I have ever seen. It took 4 hours to play 16 holes after which I need to leave!
