Played Brent Valley on 9th September – my first round in three months – and it was an absolute joy to get back out with an early tee time. The four ball in front kindly let me through, so the whole round was smooth and free flowing right through to the end.
The course itself was in the condition you’d expect for a clay soil base: on the dry side with the greens heavily sanded, but overall it played well and was in pretty good shape. Really enjoyed the round and looking forward to playing again next week.
Brent Valley
Decent public course, been playing on and off for years. Worth a go.
Lovely Course
Really good course, great views too
Shame that one of the bridges was closed so had to walk a long way between shots on one hole but great all in all
Great practice round or for beginners
A great place for a practice round or to bring a beginner
Can be slow at times
Everyone is friendly and great staff
Enjoyable course/round
Fairly straight forward and short course but easy to get out position and get in some trouble. Greens aren't in the best condition but otherwise course is well kept
Good value for money
£22 on a Saturday is not bad at all. Greens need a lot more care. Also put with a 2 ball which wasn’t aware of until arrival but they were great company. Course just needs more care.
Excellent BUT
Why is there no sign from the 4th to the 5th? And why was there no diversion info about the closed bridge on 13th?
And why was I given an out of date score card?
Not in good shape right now
Ive played this course many times over the years but this course is in really poor stare right now. Swampy muddy leaf ridden and small lakes of ice in places. Greens left long. Also the bridge to cut through from par three 13th is no longer in action and you have to walk the long way back round. Despite borderline unplayable conditions the course was still busy and i had waits at most tee boxes and had to play through about 4-5 groups
Great course
Played for the first time. Staff and other players were really nice and welcoming. I would recommend.
You get what you pay for
Very cheap round, for where it is and the course was in decent enough conditions - but the pace and standard of play of golfers on the course was very poor and tee times not staggered properly. I went around by myself, and packed it in after 5 holes, as was having to wait 5+ minutes to take each shot.
May be ok if you’re in a 3-4 ball.
It’s okay.
Nothing glamorous. Does what it says on the box. Only paid £32 so not bad at all.
Put up the Stroke rating and slope so we don’t have to scan through the website to find it. Lady on front desk had no idea what we were asking about.
Great public course close to a tube station
7 min walk from the Elizabeth line and eaay to get a tee time on weekends. What more can you ask for. Yes its only par 67 but you are aware of that when you sign up. Very good value for money. Thanks.
Not bad in good condition
The only thing was you changed us £27 and if we had gone direct we would have only paid £17 someone making a lot of money
Crowded and in poor condition
Played Sat 7 April as our home course was closed.
When we arrived there were loads of people waiting to tee off at our tee time as they were running so late, so we ended up about 20 mins behind schedule. After that the pace of play was so slow and we gave up after 13 holes.
The course is also in bad condition - slow bumpy greens, can’t tell where fairways are half the time and bunkers not maintained.
We played here before and it seemed a lot worse now with the only mitigating factor the terrible weather recently.
Hopefully they will get their act together and do some maintenance so it gets better.
Waterlogged
Course was not playable it was waterlogged, but still opens, so I gave £17.50 away
Nice public course
An enjoyable 18 holes. The course is very forgiving so its good to play if you are a high handicapper. Greens in very good conditions. Well be back to play again.
