One of the best in West London
This is ny local course and having tried most of the others I have to say this one comes on top! Lovely greens, plenty of space to play and good pace. On expensive side but a good weekend treat.
Would definitely recommend!
Dull
Well kept course but absolutely stale, just up down dead straight holes with not much about them. Not worth the £50 green fee
Wyke Green review
Easy access from central London for all four of us travelling separately. Warm welcome in the pro shop / Graham 10/10. Pre tee off My friends made use of the simulator and another of the kitchen and the putting green… some longish par 4’s . I started with a par (missed birdie) so a great start. Great greens, a wee bit up and down on the holes but we made fast progress and a 4 hour round letting through two groups of members. We will be back. Friendly staff at bar. We will be back.
Excellent London Course
Wyke Green is in excellent condition and it’s clear the green keepers are doing a great job on what must be a very busy course. It’s always fun to play and there are some properly challenging holes which I always enjoy playing. Always a warm welcome as well.
Unbelievable condition
I think the greenskeepers must be magic. Really friendly staff on a beautiful day. Thoroughly enjoyed my round playing on the best greens I've played in a long time. The fairways were like a new carpet too. Stunning course.
Reduce rates until course in better condition
You can see the course has had money invested in it, we played when the course was recovering from that work. Majority of bunkers and some tee boxes GUR,
The green fees rates were confusing, Course website quotes a rate that turned out to be £25 shy of what it was when I called to book even though Golf Now rate cheaper, it was still more than website.
Given the state of the course I think the rate is hig for current state of the course.
I played West Middlesex recently and it was cheaper, in better condition, and a better layout.
Nice course
At the time of playing there was a considerable amount of work being carried out on the bunkers and around some of the Greens and also after quite a bit of rain so taking this into account the course played very well and everywhere else on the course was in great condition. It’s quite a challenge and the Greens are brilliant. I definitely recommend Wyke Green and will play again anytime.
Course in great condition. GolfNow could be better on their comms.
I had played Wyke Green over 10 yrs ago but didn’t remember any of the holes. The layout is pretty standard with a lot of straightaway longish par 4s on the front with some more interesting shorter par 4s on the back. Conditioning was excellent and the greens were in great shape. Looks like quite a bit of work is being done to the course with some new bunkers going in. Pleasantly surprised by the whole thing to be honest.
Note - We were a 2 ball and booked to play at 1308 on a Saturday. We turned up to the course an hour in advance to be told that our time had been moved to 1324 by the staff because a member wanted our 1308 time. No notice given about the change even though I had booked 5 days in advance. However, the guy working was able to get us out at 1245 by squeezing us in between a couple of groups. There was a club comp on so it was relatively slow on the day but we got round in about 4 hours. Could see a 3 hour round here for a 2 ball on a more quiet day.
For a club inside the M25, I would say this is ok value at £60 on a Saturday given how good the conditioning of the course. GolfNow / the course needs to be better on their comms about tee time changes. I booked on Tuesday for a Saturday round so if you’re going to change my tee time you have the time to call or email to let me know. Thanks to the guy in the shop who got us out earlier. Was really appreciated.
Lovely course
Course was in beautiful condition. Shame I didn't do it justice!

Excellent course quality geeens friendly staff a must play
Great greens but too many similar holes
The greens were in fantastic shape fast and very true so highly enjoyable with only the crazy golf 17th being the exception (too much fun!). The layout was disappointing with too many similar par 4 fairly straight, tree lined holes. The front nine is trickier purely down to the lengths. The staff and members were very pleasant.
