This golf course should be shut down. Management should be embarrassed with the conditions.

great course maintenence
The staff are very nice and friendly. The starter showed me the course layout and direction nicely. Fairway is under good condition, very soft and good cushion. the green is nicely shinning. the speed is moderate. People playing here are nice and friendly. I will come back again and again.

Nice tract. Greens were in great shape. Inconsistent from green to green. Definitely will play again. Great amenities.

Not what time grew up with
Tea boxes and fairways were in good condition. However several of the greens were just in terrible condition probably from the freeze. I grew up on this course and I remember ball wash and club wash at every third hole. Absolutely no amenities whatsoever on the course. If my family were still members today I would be very disappointed in Pecan Grove

Where's the love?
The course was not in the best shape AT ALL! The greens were very unkept, fairways were not in great shape either. It looks to me that it has NO LOVE when taking care of this course. I don't know what it was like before, but being a former country club when ONLY members and guest were allowed, it has taken a beat down....Put some love into the course and it will have its luster back.

Sub par course
There is a lot of damage to the fairways, as well as the greens. I know it takes time to fix, but still, not convenient if your ball rolls over the bare patches of dirt. Played 18 holes in 3 hours starting at 5, so pace was ok, but the damages we’re on a lot of holes.

in places the course and greens are in bad shape due to spring freeze - just need some TLC - pace of play and facilities are great

Good Layout but is in terrible condition
Pecan Grove has 3 9s. The Course Design is good. The problem is the Course is in terrible condition. They blamed it on the Harsh Weather in March, but the greens were in terrible condition last year also.
And we got stuck behind a 6 person group who had no interest in letting us play through. So we had to skip a hole to get in front of them. The Couse needs to have someone riding around monitoring whats going on. But they are more interested in making a profit. One of the most miserable experiences I have had on a Course in a long time. Its a shame to because it could be a good Course.
I will not be returning to the course anytime soon.

Why do you allow 6somes?
6some in front of us on back nine was brutally slow. Ridiculous . Need Marshall on course breaking those up. It’s not the first time.
When I was a member 5somes were chastised.

Don’t play here.
I had a relative come into to town and I chose this course because I have played it many time in the past years and I thought it would be an upgrade to other public courses we’ve played. The course is in terrible shape. Many grease are without large swaths of grass. Fairways too and they are very dry and hard pan. Will never play here again. Players should be warned about the conditions in advance so they have a choice. There are better course for less cost.
