Brookmans Park Golf Club

Most impressed with the fairways and greens in great condition considering the recent poor weather and rain. Half way house was open and serving coffe and sausage rolls. Members we met were super friendly and good bar again with good service. On the face of it doesn’t look a tough course but a couple of tricky to holes over and around water and you’ll need good second shots to hit a good score on most of the par 4s. Fun and friendly .. not too challenging.

We arrived at the course and the pro told us there were 6 temporary greens today...

Not only that but that it had been reflected in the price that we had already paid for the round.

WHAT?! I've never heard of 6 temporary greens in August. It would also have been just common courtesy to let us know this before we got to the course. I 100% would have booked somewhere else at this price point.

A refund was also rejected, as we had decided to play the course. After booking a day off work and having a pal drive from Norwich for our first game together after the pandemic, of course, we should have just said 'no thank you, we won't play at all today' . Terrible customer service on what is actually a really nice course.

We decided to play at Brookmans Park as a special day for my brothers birthday. We were not informed when we

booked that there were 6 temporary greens in play, which put a dampener on our day.

The rest of the greens had also been spiked and sanded.

The fairways could of also done with a cut, and because of this decided to play pick and place.

The course is in great shape from greens to rough, it’s a bit easy in the fact that it’s quite open so most wayward shots are recoverable rather than 3 off the tee etc. Greens are quite narrow and long though which does make things harder and pretty fast

This was the nearest course to home that I'd never played. I'd heard good reports but as a private course the green fees were a little high and for one reason or another I'd never played it. Often when you look forward to something it disappoints but Brookmans was everything I'd hoped for. Beautiful fairways lined with ancient trees and greens to die for. I made 5 puts of 5m or more alll holding their course immaculately. If you get the chance come and play here.

Course was kept in great condition and was not to busy and therefore a good speed of play. The course was challenging yet not overly difficult, greens and fairways were very well kept. Would highly recommend this course.

I played this course a few weeks ago for the first time and it was incredible. Greens were amazing, course is great condition, excellent layout and the staff were superb! Will certainly be going back there and would recommend to anyone.

Great course good challenge and seriously good greens. Friendly in the bar after the round too. Great value for money.

First time I have played the course and it was a great experience. The course itself was kept very well and the layout makes the course challenging. Best part of the course was the greens as they were immaculate! Certainly will be playing here again...

Best course in the area I’ve played so far. Great value for money, course in fantastic condition and the greens nice and quick. Would certainly recommend
