Excellent course with good quality greens in beautiful surroundings
Gem of a course
Everything about the day was spot on.
Course is great layout, with some exceptional holes. Was in great condition.
Pace of play was superb.
Staff friendly, great atmosphere in clubhouse.
Course was about 60 miles from each of us, we will be back
Tricky layout but great conditions
Really nice course - well maintained and greens in perfect condition.
Need to think about strategy for each hole - difficult to get a good score on your first time round due to a few blind hole so def want to come back and see what I can score next time.
Food in clubhouse was decent after
A challenging and established course
The Course and amenities were excellent. The Course has many varied holes that make you think and test your golf to the full. It can be played by golfers with all handicaps and you do not have to be the longest hitter to play well.
A comfortable club house and excellent and friendly staff all round.

By reputation it’s a wet muddy golf course, but in actyfact it wasn’t

Friendly staff, friendly club members themselves, clubhouse atmosphere, nice bar with drinks, good menu! Superbly made greens, very fast! I did not like the fact that there is a lot of grass near the fairway, a slight deviation from the fairway and you will be looking for the ball for a long time! Therefore, the balls are lost and the score itself does not enjoy the game! Still recommend to everyone!

Thank you for your review, very pleased you enjoyed the golf course and hospitality, all except for the rough. We always cyt the rough in the same position, but this year it is longer and stronger, due to the excessive amounts of rain we have received from up above.
Great Course - Slight Tee Time Issues
The course is in great condition, looks excellent, and lots of well designed holes. Quite challenging, important to keep the ball in play, very challenging greens for people that don’t play it regularly.
Only downside is that they don’t seem to operate a tee time system for members, so our tee time ended up being delayed by ~15mins.

Amazing greens!
Have wanted to play Brickendon Grange for quite a while, and it did not disappoint. Heard great things about the course and club, and all true. Lovely clubhouse, with a big modern bar and eating area, in an old building. Good food. Lovely welcome from lady pro who couldn't do too much for us. Appreciated! Good practice facilities. Course was interesting and a challenge (3 hcap + 15 hcap), including various doglegs, and 17th hole, The Ace of Herts, but highlight were the putting greens. Summer quality at the end of February. So pure. Can't understand how they do this - hats off, and well done!!

Well worth a visit.
Very nice course and a fair test for aĺl level of golfer. The golf pro couldn't be more helpful and the bar is good for that essential post game refreshment.
However, the really impressive parts. The greens were brilliant, never seen greens better anywhere for this time of year; firm, true and lightening fast. The bunkers were excellent, although understandably the fairways were a little worn due to the weather. A course we will be returning to.
Great course
Played in winter conditions obviously and course still didn’t disappointed. Must be great treat in summer. You can tell is closer to premium golf courses than many others I played for similar green fee.
One of the best courses in Hertfordshire
The course was in amazing condition for late October.
Greens are top notch.
Really fun and challenging course.
Tee box’s are lovely, bunkers good and fairways are great.
