Great greens
Great game of golf was played,the greens were immense. And the pace of play was good considering it was very busy, we didn't get held up once. The only bad thing is it was a to expensive
Absolutely gorgeous course and in fantastic condition... the off course amenities were very poor .. the clubhouse was totally dirty with cobwebs and grime hanging from the bottom of the radiators .. it was not a pleasant place to sit and have a drink after 18 holes ... really needs a good clean and repainting as paint peeling off dirty walls ...
Have not seen a clubhouse conservatory in such bad condition before !!
Course is in great condition
First time played, got a great deal , course was in great condition. Smooth greens so was fast.
Lay out abit confusing first time and staff seemed rush but overall had a great round and would play again and recommend to others

Bad start will barely a hello in the Pro shop, but the course made up for it

Very friendly greeting from the pro. Buggy was ready and waiting. Course was in very good condition especially the greens. Will definitly be back.
Brilliant twilight golf
Played here for £20 on a twilight deal. A great course. However the pro shop was shut when we got there so no scorescards or ability to buy water on a hot day. There were water fountains on the course though.
The course was great, interesting and well kept. Some very cool par 3s and overall nicely landscaped.
Wanted a pint after but it seemed there was no spike bar or anyone to tell us otherwise when we finished despite lights being on.
So great course but a bit disappointing on welcome and facilities.
Keeps me coming back
Challenging course - but not too much, friendly, good quality fairways, great greens. Just a little dry in places, but still excellent
Nice course, Dickensian rules
Very pleasant parkland, tree-lined course with sweeping views towards central Croydon, played at £23 per head on tee-off times. Excellent greens and well maintained bunkers.
Slightly let down by the pro shop which was more concerned about the colour of our socks and whether our shirts were fully tucked in. At the end we were banned from the bar for being in 'golf garb' - in a golf club! No wonder fewer young people want to play golf!
Lovely course near middle of croydon
Very friendly and welcoming staff and professional. Some challenging holes but a real pleasure to play a James Braid designed course with is associated history.
