Delapre Golf Club - Par-3 Course

So much repair work being undertaken to the greens, huge tramlines and divots make them unplayable . Winter tee box matting needs replacing as so old, can’t get a tee in on the left side. Really not good value for money at present. Shame because the shop, staff, food etc. 10/10.

Started the day with swarm up on the range. Good facilities here. A very nice burger in the sun outside the clubhouse. Then on to golf. Being a high handicapper this course although longish is fair to us lesser mortals. The rough is kept to a minimum allowing you to find your ball. The tees and fairways were in good condition. The greens are having work done with plenty of draining lines and holes punched in them. They have also been sanded. This made them pretty slow and getting a ball to stay on line nearly impossible.

That said it was a lovely day.

Everything about this course is fantastic , Fairways and greens are immaculate for time of year . Played other courses in the area and this is by far the best .

We’ll kept course greens are great we’ll worth the money

1st time on this course, I was a single player and joined 3 others players whose handicap was much lower than mine, 3 very friendly guys. I enjoyed the game. great game and course and can highly recommend this public golf venue.

first time at Delapre , all staff very helpful and friendly , was told we would be following a society so we could not go out early , booked for 12.50 and we were 40 minutes early , only downside was that we were told it is GOLFNOW to join groups of 2 to make a foursome , not happy as my playing partner is new to the game.

walked over to the starter whos was really friendly and knowledgeable about the course , even asked us if we wanted to go early as the society had all started , we jumped at the chance , lovely course , great conditions and super fast greens. even had a drinks trolley come round during the round , super club and well worth visiting , just make sure you book with a 4 so you play with your own friends.

marshal tried to put me with a 3 ball! said that’s what golf now do… very impolite & unfriendly!!! i’ll never go back again

Played on busy midweek afternoon. Decent course and quite forgiving. Tees not great but fairways and greens generally good. Clubhouse good. A pair jumped in on the 10th hole , not sure if this is a regular occurance but led to a bit more hanging around although pace not bad.

Course in pretty good condition with enough to challenge you

Was busy but no real hold up

The beer buggy was a bonus!
