A high quality, championship course. Fairways and greens immaculate. Bunkers exceptional. Mixed tone long rough beautiful to look at, but very penal! We’ll definitely go back.

Considering the time of year and some of the bad weather we’ve had recently this course held up better than anywhere I’ve seen. Tee boxes, bunkers, fairways and greens all in great condition so credit to the maintenance. The course layout was just very compact and close together and some holes crossing fairways which isn’t ideal but it was still a good round of golf here.

Fixby is always enjoyable with a good mixture of challenging long and tricky short par 4's. The greens were very good given the recent heavy rain.

Enjoyed our day, course in decent condition but still showing some signs of last year's dry summer. Slightly disappointed that after ringing pro and asking for restrictions etc I was not informed of two holes not in use. They were replaced by two temp holes but not quite the same.

Course card provided were plain white paper with only the holes+ distance and stroke index. This meant that because there was no course layout printed on rear we needed to ask members for advice as to where the next tee boxes/holes were.

Whinge over, staff and members very welcoming and helpful.

We booked this course based on price and it's current standing in top Yorkshire courses. We didn't know what to expect. I can tell you this. Tee times is £10 cheaper than normal green fees, it's a super layout with possibly the best bunkering layout I've seen this year after obviously undergoing a recent refurb programme. If you want a course to test your game then book a tee time and enjoy. We'll be coming back for more

the course had 3 normal holes out of play due to ,what looked like drainage work, had put 2 temp holes in, made it confusing, IF ONLY THEY LET PEOPLE KNOW BEFOREHAND !!!!

Played this course half a dozen times.Before you start they have a driving range & 150 yds chipping area.The course was in fantastic condition for the time of year.Tough but fair course.I played to my handicap of 5,which is very good,but it was the first time I have played this course on a calm day.The clubhouse is superb & very friendly staff.Will be back many times.
