Outlane Golf Club

Challenging course with a few lovely tee boxes. The course was in lovely condition especially at this time of the year. The par 3 15th hole was out of action but there was a nice little temporary par 3 put in it's place. I'll definitely be back.

Course in great condition after all the rain recently.

Fairways we're mostly dry, no wet patches and greens fair.

For the time of year and rain we have had the course was in good nick, some winter tees and a couple of winter geens, all in all worth the visit. It gets better as the year goes by.

Played her alot over the past 3 years and love it. Course is about the only one in a good condition in winter. And it's even better in summer. Bit of a workout getting around the course. Helps you improve hitting above and below your feet. Lads in the shop are always friendly. Couldn't recommend enough.

Got it on a hot deal through golf now.

After I booked it I didn’t receive confirmation straight away so phoned the club shop to make sure it was booked, the gentleman that answered the phone was very polite and confirmed my booking and also changed it slightly so we wasn’t playing with people we didn’t know. And managed to book a buggy.

On the day of the round it was the same man in the club

Shop and again very helpful and friendly, as it was our first time there he was giving us a bit more information than normal.

The course itself was great really enjoyed it and a good variety of different holes and challenges.

Also everyone on the course seemed friendly also.

And a nice pint at the end of the round.

Will be going back and would recommend.

Very good course but quite hilly. It was very dry and the fairways were mostly on a slope so was almost impossible to keep the ball on the fairways. Good challenge. Enjoyed!

Deal for 9.30 am.

Mistake I made was not ringing the golf club beforehand to check out the condition and the work being undertaken

All greens being hollow tined ( middle of august is this normal ) - one temp green that was shocking

Course reroutes to avoid workmen.

I like the course layout and some spectacular views and may possibly play it again in the future but will make sure I call to ask the relevant questions

It's a good walk, so bring plenty protein bars and fluids if its hot.

The layout in the middle is a bit hard hat, with lots of crossing and shared fairways, but if it's not too busy it's a great challenging course.

Been driving past this course for years and always wanted to visit and wasn't disappointed when we finally did. Course was in great condition and some really interesting holes. Quite a few are blind so at a slight disadvantage the first time you play. All four of us said we'd come back again, hopefully in better conditions, that was the only negative of the day.

The gentleman in the pro shop was great, he spent a while explaining the course to us and had a good chat before we set off.

Not always straightforward knowing which direction next green is

Played here for the first time and found the course in very good condition. Greens and fairways well kept, the course is very hilly and a good challenge. Quite a few blind shots to play so can be a bit confusing first time round but overall very good.
