A very challenging hilly and bumpy course!
My partner and I are high handicappers and it was our first time visiting this course. The positives - very friendly golf shop assistant and lovely views. Negatives - on a steep hillside so we were very thankful of the golf buggy on a hot day! Because of the hills, the balls ran off to the left or right (depending on the slope) a lot, so you really had to keep an eye on your ball! The fairways were not up to the standard we are used to at other courses, a bit rough with lots of bumps and thick grass, it wasn’t obvious which greens belonged to which hole, and some tee boxes crossed other holes so you had to be really aware of players around you. We normally do 18 holes within 4 hours, this took us much longer and I therefore wouldn’t recommend it for high handicappers!

Lovely course with many challenging holes, it was in great condition and staff were really friendly and accommodating.
Nice course
Nice course that's a bit different from most other courses that I've played. Several blind holes, a couple of challenging par 3s and not one hole that's the same as an other. Overall, really enjoyed it and the weather was much better this time.
Very friendly gentleman in the pro shop btw.
Fantastic
Fantastic golf course that offers a great balance of challenge and playability. The fairways are well-maintained, the greens roll true, and the overall condition of the course is excellent. The layout is interesting, with a good variety of holes that keep the round engaging from start to finish.
Great Local Course
Course is challenging and in good nick. Pro was a very friendly guy. Course was quiet which was great. Would recommend
Interesting golf course
Really interesting golf course with some great holes and greens.
Great staff and members there only downside was a lot of waiting due to hole layouts sharing fairways and waiting to tee off over greens etc.
Great condition
Challenging course with a few lovely tee boxes. The course was in lovely condition especially at this time of the year. The par 3 15th hole was out of action but there was a nice little temporary par 3 put in it's place. I'll definitely be back.
After the rain
Course in great condition after all the rain recently.
Fairways we're mostly dry, no wet patches and greens fair.
Great course, always a pleasure to play here
For the time of year and rain we have had the course was in good nick, some winter tees and a couple of winter geens, all in all worth the visit. It gets better as the year goes by.
Lovely course
Played her alot over the past 3 years and love it. Course is about the only one in a good condition in winter. And it's even better in summer. Bit of a workout getting around the course. Helps you improve hitting above and below your feet. Lads in the shop are always friendly. Couldn't recommend enough.
First visit
Got it on a hot deal through golf now.
After I booked it I didn’t receive confirmation straight away so phoned the club shop to make sure it was booked, the gentleman that answered the phone was very polite and confirmed my booking and also changed it slightly so we wasn’t playing with people we didn’t know. And managed to book a buggy.
On the day of the round it was the same man in the club
Shop and again very helpful and friendly, as it was our first time there he was giving us a bit more information than normal.
The course itself was great really enjoyed it and a good variety of different holes and challenges.
Also everyone on the course seemed friendly also.
And a nice pint at the end of the round.
Will be going back and would recommend.
Really good course
Very good course but quite hilly. It was very dry and the fairways were mostly on a slope so was almost impossible to keep the ball on the fairways. Good challenge. Enjoyed!
Could have been better
I have played and caddied this course many times but many years ago. Booked via golf now as there was a hot
Deal for 9.30 am.
Mistake I made was not ringing the golf club beforehand to check out the condition and the work being undertaken
All greens being hollow tined ( middle of august is this normal ) - one temp green that was shocking
Course reroutes to avoid workmen.
I like the course layout and some spectacular views and may possibly play it again in the future but will make sure I call to ask the relevant questions

Lovely course, friendly welcome.
Greens were fantastic.
Overall course we'll kept.
It's a good walk, so bring plenty protein bars and fluids if its hot.
The layout in the middle is a bit hard hat, with lots of crossing and shared fairways, but if it's not too busy it's a great challenging course.
