Really enjoyed it, course in great condition, definitely one to play twice so you know where to hit the ball on some holes. The par 3s are all really good and you’ve got to be in the fairway off the tee. Would definitely recommend if in the area
Excellent course
Third time of playing and again wasn’t disappointed, fairways and greens in excellent condition, some quite challenging holes for me as I’m only a mediocre player, a couple of tricky par threes that can be challenging as if you don’t select the right club you could end up in the quarry!! On the day we played it was quite blustery which added to the pressure. Can’t wait to play again, only downside was that the clubhouse doesn’t serve food on a Monday but a cold drink after 18 holes was very welcome.
Disappointed
Overall course was good apart from the fact every green was temp even though the green looked perfect and for £40 this wasn't really worth the money
Outstanding
Second time playing this course and it was even better than we remembered. Amazing course layout and conditions, alongside friendly staff. Would recommend playing here if you haven’t done so already. Will be returning for sure.
Cracking course!
Always a pleasure to play here. Greens were a bit slow but other than that loved it!
Challenging course
Absolutely fabulous course. Greens were in amazing condition - the green keepers do an amazing job. A variety of challenging holes. Can’t wait to play it again
Great Course
Great course although the wind can catch you out!
Top course
excellent course, greens first class- fast and true. constant very strong wind made every shot a real challenge however really enjoyed the day. would like to return with more playable conditions.. highly recommended
Great Condition
Played at Heath many times as I live very local, never fails to disappoint, great condition and excellent variety of holes, brilliant round of golf .
Huddersfield's best?
Absolutely stunning golf course in amazing condition considering the wild recent weather.
Bone dry fairways
Superb walkways through holes
Amazing views
Played every course in Huddersfield now and this is a serious contender for 1st place.
Woodsome Hall is amazing but very hilly and I love Fixby but it's just so expensive.
If you haven't tried Crosland Heath it's an absolute must.
Happy Golfing!!
Superb
Played this end of January ,
course in fantastic condition
Some of the best holes we’ve
Played on any golf course.
Great day.
Had a friend over from whis a member at Royal Norwich. He wanted to play on a Sunday. I chose Crosland Heath as it had been recommended by members of my club (Fixby hall). We arrived to be told there was no catering. This was little disappointing as my friend hadn't eaten! That was the only slight disappointment. The pro gave us range tokens as an appolgie. We had four seasons on the course...but what a course! Every part was class . Condition 10 out of 10..layout 10 again. Tees and greens some of the best I've played this year. A credit to the greens staff. All for £21. Barging of the century.
Yorkshire Gem
A gem of a golf course, which you need to keep on the fairway and out the heather. The greens had been verticut but rolled out very well. A dry course despite the recent heavy rain. Great par 3’s, not the longest but testing greens. We will return to play social and a couple of opens. A very nice welcome from the pro and bar staff. Members were helpful too. Well worth a visit.
Still a hidden gem
Even better than last years visit. From Ryan In the pro shop to the 19th hole everything was great. Only two weak holes (3 and 18) on a course that makes you feel as if you are in Scotland.. Took three good golfers with me and they loved the par 3’s and the long 4’s. Will return every year in the future.
