Winter Conditions

Late fall and the course conditions are showing it. Fairways are thin in many places and several fairways were hard panned without much grass. Sammons is worth the time in season. Lots of water to deal with but an enjoyable course that is not long and fun to play. The driving range has reseeded and is in terrific condition.

Sunday & Monday First Timers

Greens are in great shape. Fairways and cart paths are very rugged. Grass is thin. Pace on Sunday was horrendous. Waited 15-20 minutes on every tee box. Where was the Marshall, saw him on the first tee. Tournament on Monday was good, too many "fun" holes. We drove 4 hours and spent the night for tournament. The grill was very good!

just a few signs directing you to the proper direction to go to some of the holes would greatly improve the course and wouldn't cost much. so, so, confusing

Great Municipal Course

Sammons is a really fun and challenging course. For a municipal course it is in decent shape. The layout is great! The staff is friendly. The price on the weekends is average. However they run a great deal after 3pm during the week. It’s $25 for as many holes as you can fit in with a cart! I definitely recommend playing this course!

Very confusing course

Layout of this course is very confusing. The cart paths go all different directions with no signs directing you to each hole. Tee boxes were rough and overall course didn’t seem properly maintained.
