Around a different way
First time I've been here since they have made the front nine, the new back nine. No problem but just different. Greens were very good fairways a rough cut about right. A few tees were off mats which weren't very receptive to a tee being pushed in and being a left hander playing off of a well trodden side of the mat was not very easy. But, other than that a very enjoyable round. Thank you very much.
Lovely course tucked away near Lakeside
A lovely little course near Lakeside and not far from the M25. The clubshop allowed me to start a little later as me and my friend wanted to have a quick drink before tee off. Felt very welcoming and the course was great. The greens were in great condition and would play here again - the 8th hole is definitely their best! See you again soon.
The course was in very good condition.
Very friendly staff, especially the lady behind the bar, couldn't have been more helpful. The course was tidy and well kept.
Ok but fairways need work
Tee box’s had better bit of turf than the fairways
The fairways are - “fairway rough”
Very dried out fairways, shame because course layout is decent. But conditions need some work
Greens were great tho!
Good condition
The course was in good condition and very good pace of play
Great course
Good course to play, beginner friendly wide fairways. Only disappointment yesterday was the short rough areas were really long and difficult to find balls which delayed our game. Nice bar in clubhouse and well looked after greens. Good luck at Reid’s Creek
Awful course conditions
First time playing here, and although we got off to a great start with the really nice staff there, from the first tee onwards we were highly disappointed.
The condition of the course is poor, the fairways are overgrown and the signage across the course is horrendous! It’s a real shame as it could be a great course, really needs looking after better than this.
The greens were quite slow, although in pretty good condition considering. Highly disappointed as I say, it could be great, but the fairways are a huge disappointment.
Good condition but needs work
Enjoyed the course, the greens were in really good condition. However The semi rough Needs cutting back. Understand if the rough Is king grass but anywhere off the fairway and you can lose your ball. You can hit a good shot and have to drop a shot. We list a few balls between us playing & only one or two were down to bad shots. Just cut that back and it would really improve the course. Other than that we had a good day & would recommend it
Its a good course but the fairways were more like the rough. Need a good old cut and so did the greens then it would of been fine.
Very tidy
A very tidy and well thought out course that has some very good holes.
All the greens in very good condition and fairways were also decent.
My playing partners and I were a little uninspired bu the first couple of holes but around hole 6 things got interesting with a monster par 5 with a very difficult approach through a clearing to a tilted green. The 7th was also very good but only serves as a warm for the 8th which is simply stunning.
Back 9 also had some varied holes which were probably highlighted by a very long sweeping dog leg right left hole which is the 14th from memory. Watch out for the ditch water hazard in front of the green as that will catch a lot of people out.
Would of preferred some slightly better signage at points but overall we found our way round.
Strangely my Bushnell watch didn’t seem to pick up the right holes at the right time from the off however the associated app on the phone did???
Would definitely play here again and we plan too soon.
