Booked for tee off 11,45 told it had been put back to 12pm when I booked in

Greens very good as usual but the fairways as a whole are poor, I know we had a dry summer but please cut them so they are at least even there were time the ball lay on next to no grass and two foot away the grass is 6-8 long and vice versa

Tee boxes okay, greens slow but okay, fairways terrible - very difficult to see the definition between fairway and rough, it was like playing on a park field. This wasn’t helped by the poor standard of golfers in a buggy in front of us, zero understanding of pace of play or etiquette of golf. I guess the parkland quality of the course attracts a certain type of golfer.

There are a lot of courses in the area so would expect a need to compete to attract custom, sadly this isn’t the case. This is my most local course but I won’t be returning, not even for a free day out I’d rather give it a miss.

The course is still recovering from the long dry spell

Fairways were poor but expected after the weather we have had, greens and tee box were perfect condition couldn’t ask for better

1st time playing this course staff very friendly and accommodating as l was running late and it wasn't a problem some very challenging holes and some easier ones course could do with a watering greens and tee's were in really good condition. I will be back again soon.

Pace of play very slow.

Members just seem to roll up early morning and just push hhere way in . When you already have your tee time booked ?.

Seem to be certain rules for members but not guests .

Greens and fairways in fair condition due to te weather.

The seems to be 2 pros working in the pro shop. 1 very friendly the other not so and pushy.. lots of notices placed around make sure you read them all in case the grumpy pro pulls you up.

Other than that the round when OK.

The fairway was burnt by heat has not been watered it like playing on concrete.

Some tough holes but some very easy, a good mix for all.

Booked a tee time at 11:37 found out that I needed an earlier tee time. Called up the pro shop to ask if an earlier tee time was possible.

When speaking to the pro, I was quoted the t&c’s and informed that they were not willing to help and that I had to contact golf now as it was a hot deal. The tone of the pro was resentful and a poor representation of the game.

I attempted to modify the booking on the app but it failed to work.

Had a really slow round. After 8 holes an angry man representing the club drove up to my partner blaming our 2 ball for causing the slow play.as we should have been a 4 ball? Make sense of that as we waited between 15 and twenty minutes at every tee? There was also a society playing in front of us.

Evidently golf now had paired us up with another 2ball?

We presented ourselves to the pro shop in good time. Arrived at the tee on time to be greeted by a starter who was very friendly and professional and teed off as a 2 ball when prompted.

Why this angry man should approach paying visitors with ridiculous accusations is beyond belief and spoilt our day.

Rough was tough.

The fairways were in condition that is suitable for my game. I enjoyed playing my irons by going under the ball without making devotes

The continuous drizzle marred our play of the first nine holes.

We will definitely book to play there again, by GOD’s Grace.

Nice guy in the pro shop but other staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Buggies are very annoying as they cut off on certain areas, getting from 9 to 10 is a joke.

Nice course, with a few good challenging holes. Greens were in good condition and pretty quick. A very windy day and tight fairways made it trickier and it would have been better if the rough was just a bit shorter. We spent quite a lot of time looking for balls just off the fairway. Good course definitely recommend it. We'll go back again!
