Fantastic Course and Club
I was very lucky to be invited to play this absolutely outstanding course by a work colleague, the course conditions were amazing, it is a very challenging course, with great views and in my opinion one of the best if not the very best course I have played, I have played a quite a few, including Woodhall Spa, Belfry, Thonnock Park and many others and this rates higher than them .Travelling from Lincoln to play here was definitely worth the journey, The staff were very friendly, I would highly recommend this course to any golfer looking for that higher quality course to play. Thanks to all the staff and greenkeepers and my work colleague Jonathan Marshall for the invite, you have done a tremendous job here.

Challenging and Interesting Course
This is a really enjoyable course with every hole different and challenging
I is hilly with obvious nice views across the course
We plan to return again and see how we do with a better knowledge of each hole and hopefully how best to play them
I would suggest for new visitors to get an official course planner to study plan each hole and oh, look out for the brook as it comes into play on a number of holes mostly at the bottom of steep slopes
Our only issues were that a few signs to direct visitors to the next tees would be helpful and knowledge of the code to get in the front door would also be helpful
Great deal
Looking for a game last Sunday found Moor Allerton on Golf now at £30 pp.
I knew from 30 years ago it was a great layout.
Played 1st and last 9s' great overall
Work being done all over but not in play spring verti cuts front greens only still quick.
Wet
Very wet in places had to play two different nines groundsman always in the way first time playing it won’t be going back and unfortunately
Moor Allerton review
excellent course lay out , well maintained , for the time of year , worth a visit for £30 each
November Golf
Played Moor Allerton on a dry / calm November morning.
Course was in excellent condition for the time of year. Greens were superb.
No issues with any groups in front or behind. Actually felt empty, which is surprising for morning golf in Leeds.
Can not believe played here for only £25.
On my play again list without a doubt.
Can’t wait to play in summer
Chose to play the course and after a downpour so expected it to be wet, didn’t realise it was greens maintenance week so the greens were heavily sanded which kind of impacted the playing experience. Think Golf now could do better here as when I checked the club website this was clearly stated but nothing on Golfnow.
However the course is a lovely set up with some class holes.
Definitely one for a trolley or buggy if not physically fit as it’s a good walk. Will be back in better weather
Best course to play in January
Played end of January. Course played like it was summer. It’s a top class course with some beautiful holes. Highly recommend in summer or winter
We played this course over the Christmas period for the first time and wasn’t disappointed .a challenging course with a great layout.tee boxes and greens in great condition for this time of year! The pro shop and green keepers were very friendly! Will definitely be going back in the summer.
Great course
The course is quite hilly so i recommend getting a buggy for this course, other than that fairways hood and greens very well kept
