So many balls lost even in the fairways, plugged or lost under the crazy amount of leafs….dont take expensive balls! Even the members were saying h how bad it was trying to find the balls in play.
Booked an early tee-time otherwise I wouldn’t of got on that day.
I had no idea they were using mats on every tee and they didn’t even say anything when I arrived.
The greens were in terrible condition even after they had rolled them but I get there has been a bit of bad weather lately but still I think they could of been tended to a bit more.
Even though it was my first time round here the signs for the next hole weren’t good at all until you actually got somewhere near the next tee.
Overall the course wasn’t too bad for this time of year but would go back in better conditions.
Greens need some work
The course is stunning right now. Tee boxes are pristine, fairways are pristine, greens look pristine until you’re on them. Greens are very uneven and there are lots of little holes as if they had just been aerated - but they haven’t. Even the shortest and flattest of putts wobble all over the place. Played here a lot and last summer the greens were immaculate, not sure what’s going on with them now.
Course was really good. Challenging but play was very slow. Was a bank holiday so can’t complain too much but was a constant 10mins wait at every tee box
Well maintained and challenging
Some repair work on the third green but overall, a really well maintained course.
Always like it here but god, slow play goes totally unmarshalled. Also on this occasion the fairways were very long.
Leave visit for later in the year.
Played in damp wind conditions. The course was a bog. It's very difficult to find your way round ,very little signage. Greens were fair for the time of year.
To be fair, alot of work was ongoing on the course and having played here before later in the season it's always been good.
I think £25 to play on a course in that condition was steep. But as previously stated I have played here before and would return just not early or late in the season.
This course is quality
Quality course, lots of challenging holes. In really good condition given the time of year.
Great course, can’t fault it other than maybe a bit more signage from hole to hole
Favourite course of last year, first time playing this year and the greens are clearly not being looked after to the same standard even in spite of the conditions. If i didn’t get it on a hot deal I would be asking for some money back. Nothing on website to say a hole had a Temp Green. Not worth the full price if had to pay that.
Really enjoyed playing this course, conditions were great considering the wet weather.
