Second Time Here - as good as the first
I'm showing zero price as I used the GolfNow tee time code.
This is a curious mix of links-type holes with a section through wooded parkland. Newly built housing developments surround part of the course - given what has happened in the area (Herts/Beds), this doesn't bode well for the future. Think - course sold for housing :-(
Get and play it!
This has a particular soft spot for me; on the 7th, it's my closest ever to a hole-in-one, a mere 12 inches away...
Despite the weather
Amazing the course was open despite constant downpours.
The greens were in excellent condition considering and no winter tees or greens.
Very welcoming in the pros shop and bar.
An excellent experience.
Great value for money
Started the day with a very nice cuppa and breakfast roll in the impressive clubhouse.
Quite a short course but has a lot of interesting holes, half are parkland and half have a links feel
Softer greens
Played this course in the summer, enjoyed it very much, although the greens are rock hard in summer( especially on the newer holes) it’s hard to stop your ball. Better next time round, knocked 5 shots off as ball was staying on the greens. Good course, despite the rain.
A pleasant but testing course.
Playing for the first time, I was unsure what to expect. There was a noticeable difference playing on the original 9 holes to the more recently added 9, especially the greens.
I enjoyed my game despite some difficult pin positions.
The one disappointment was that the greens were spoiled by the number of pitch marks that had not been repaired by inconsiderate (or uneducated) golfers.
Really nice course greens are great fairways great had a really good round . Well done to the ground staff
Nice roung
Overall a great golf club, reasonably priced and the course was good.
Very busy on the day but only took 4 1/2 hours in a four ball
Good Course
Well looked after course. Enjoyed my round. Would return. A little tricky to follow the course on your first visit but there is a map on the back of the course card and if you use that it all becomes clear (I didn't notice it till half way round).
The course is very picturesque
Everything about this club is great from the friendly staff to the course itself. The greens and fairways were in very good condition.
Links feel - nice pill box
It was a bit wet and windy when we teed off. The course was a mix of several holes with mature trees (like the 18th) and several holes which were open with long wispy rough.
The wind made things more difficult but with several shortish par 4s, it felt like we should score well, especially as the greens were in good nick.
Overall a good experience with a nice clubhouse with a good selection of beers.
Mount pleasant
Just like it’s name says pleasant little course greens great a special mention to the ground staff doing a great job defo going back 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Lovely course,
A lovely corse , a mixture of links and parkland, the wind even gusted for us, the greens were pure , played about a 9, and were a tee test. The 4 hrs flew by. The beer in the pro shop was also reasonably priced 😀
Worth a visit
First time playing here. Nice course with some challenging holes. And several of the holes resemble a links course which was I nice surprise. For £32 you can’t go wrong
