Nice little course

Fairly short course with seven par 3's but ideal for someone of my standard. No water hazards and not that many bunkers but plenty of trees to lose your ball in !!

The rain was no dampener

An enjoyable game on a very pleasant course, which was not as easy or short as it appears on paper. The par score on several holes is very mean for an average golfer, taking into account their length and some tricky sections. Also, the natives were very friendly and a pleasure to chat to. Despite the rain, it all amounted to a good experience.

A very pleasant surprise

We have just moved into the area and are looking at trying the local courses. I had not heard of this course but was tempted by the price and we went along to the course with no expectation other than it would be a pretty basic pay and play course but we found a little gem.
The course was lovely, quite short but no less challenging. The course was in great condition with the greens running quite fast and true.
The only negative was that there was not much choice in the bar/restaurant and we had to wait over 30. MIns for a bacon butty which they had forgotten about which as there was on,y a couple of other customers was disappointing.
However as the course was so lovely it didn’t dent our enjoyment to much

Excellent Greens

Congratulations to the staff and Green keeper for some of the best greens I have played this year.
I have played a number of different courses, including championship courses that have not found the greens as well kept and consistant as at Seckford Hall.
A fantastic coarse for golfers not wanting a long or too challenging coarse but wanting quality greens.
With 7 par 3s this may be too short for some golfers, but this did not spoil our enjoyment.
exceptionally good day.
