Nice course
Even thought large groups went out. Good pace. Nice course layout. Staff are friendly. Greens are nice, fairways are testing as the ball is above or below your feet, can’t wait to play it in drier weather.
Great course, not so great members
Beautifully laid out course with friendly and helpful staff but every single green is spoiled by dozens of unrepaired pitch marks. Shocking lack of basic etiquette on a course that deserves better.
Could be a lot better
Course is in poor condition overall with lots of areas under repair.
The etiquette of some golfers could improve. That’s 2 times in a row where we (2 golfers) felt unnecessarily harassed by the group behind us. There’s lots of 4 balls, which is fine and naturally they will be slower but those using buggies should learn more respect than chasing up the backside of the group in front, causing concertinas. Spoils the enjoyment.

Great course to challenge yourself
I’ve been a couple of times at Sudbury GC and I love playing there. The practice areas are pristine and extremely useful. The course provides an incredible experience for the intermediate-advance player. Great opportunity to challenge yourself. Would definitely recommend it!

Windy day but fun
Fairways and greens in good condition especially given the recent storms. Surprisingly not that wet underfoot. Course was quiet as windy. Has some good long par 4s but with some space to hit driver. A fair bit of uphill and downhill which makes for interesting club selection and also good exercise. A great course to test your game and practice. Also interesting birds as near river.
