Slowest Round of the Summer
The course was hosting a 4 player scramble. We were told we were teeing off behind the last group making the turn. (Coming to #1 Tee)
Once they tee'ed off, we were encouraged to quickly follow with our tee shots once fairways were clear. The group in front of us was so slow it took 90 minutes to complete 2 holes. Meanwhile the group behind us has hit up on and through our group on both #1 and #2 fairways. (They were over waiting for us I guess)
Finally a marshal came around apologizing and stating he has warned the group in front of us and that there was now a 2-3 hole gap in front of them.
It ended up taking 3 hours to play the front 9. We stopped in for food and drinks at the turn to try and give the group some space going in 10. Their last hole of the scramble was 13.
Once they were off the course we had to rush to finish a 5 hour round. The course apologized 3-4 times via the marshal but no solution or compensation for the troubles.
Id check the tournament schedule before booking a tee time here. Very frustrating day to say the least.
Course in great shape and the employees were very nice and apologetic, so no hard feelings towards any staff.

Course in pretty good shape. Has endured a lot of rain. Did not like the grounds keepers opperating while hitting your shot. It has been my experience when I play courses down South, the grounds keepers stop the machine until shot is hit.

First Review!
Played this course more than a handful of times. Grass has always been green, very little dry or rough spots. Pace of play is awsome most times just wide open. But I will say that I love the back 9 much better than the front. Farm land view and wildlife is a sight to see! Can’t say anything bad about this course.

Very greatest golf course
We played 4 persons Aug-31th my younger brother this course 9hole par3 (155yard) made hole in one
He had first time experience hole in one his golf whole life
After play game we made small party great time

I have played the course before and it is a very enjoyable layout. Unfortunately on this day the pace of play was ridiculous. The course ranger sort of kept things moving on the front nine. However, he seems to have left by the time we hit the back. The pace of play for the back nine was close to three hours for a five hour round. The people in front of us probably had two open holes in front of them. There is no excuse for that.
We apologize for the frustrating experience you had with the pace of play during your visit. Need a ranger
Our round took 4 hours 45 minutes. The foursome in front of our foursome was very slow, waited on almost every shot. At one point we could see two holes in front of us that were open.
I'm glad the weather was good and we didn't have to be anywhere right away, but waiting every shot does not help your game.

Great time
Had a great time playing the course. Really nice layout in the woods. The restaurant after was fantastic. The chef took great friends food and was a character.

First time playing Tallwood. Course is really nice and secluded. Some really good holes.
