Ufford Park Woodbridge - Hotel, Golf & Spa

The course was looking pretty untidy and bare. I know the spell of dry weather has affected everything but the course was looking very tired and the greens were severely damaged by something which could have been explained before booking. I suppose £30pp was about right as I wouldn’t want to pay more. As for facility’s I totally disagree with card only transactions when cash should always be king.

Lovely course but greens are terrible why don’t people repair pitch marks . Some people just don’t care every green is full of pitch marks it’s the only thing that lets this course down .

Having recently moved to the area, played Ufford Park as a scouting mission prior to joining. Really enjoyed the variety of holes.

Nice open course with good facilities and driving range

Pace of play was terrible played 16 holes in 5 hours with a buggy and didn’t get let through once I’ve never thought about asking to pass but I was very tempted

Played Ufford many times over the years, it’s probably in the best shape I’ve seen it in 20 years. The end of May is a good time of year to see some of the best aspects of any course but Ufford has definitely improved again. Greens were in good order and fairways also. It’s still a bit tired between holes but it’s maturing well and has some tricky shots to make if you’re an average player such as I .

Considering a Bank Holiday morning start, we were not particularly held up and were in in under 4 hours.

Such a shame Ufford currently does not have a separate clubhouse to the hotel. I’ve been told that’s changing…

Overall very good value and recommended.

Great course good condition for time of year and weather we have had . Just wish people would repair pitch marks and greens need bit of attention but mainly due to visitors not repairing pitch marks .

The greens were terrible they have got some sort of disease.

Second time playing the course in winter conditions and it’s been a pleasure both time. Lovely condition. Great flow to the course. Challenging with great variety. Long par 5 is a brute into a stinking headwind. Wish I lived closer.

The course itself is very good layout is good off course amenities are very good . But this course is let down by its greens not the best greens but hopefully green keepers are working on it . Also why don’t some golfers know how to repair a pitch mark . This benefits everyone but no some golfers are thick and very inconsiderate I think some of them should be banned if don’t know how to look after a golf course . Shame because is a nice course .

After overnight and heavy morning rain I thought it would be a poor round but I couldn't be more mistaken. The course played remarkably well and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Only one green was indifferent. Well done to the greenkeepers.

£40 for a round is ok normally for Ufford and I have played it several times. However this time the course was shocking, the fairways are really poor with bare lie and divots everywhere.

The greens were sanded on the day we played so I cannot really judge them for that as the sand is necessary so the greens were really slow.

Maybe it is becoming a victim of its own success and has too many group bookings who play without respecting the course.

it is a shame though as the course has a great layout.

Course was dry with all the rain we’ve had. Pace was very slow. But it’s a stunning course and would be beautiful during the summer
