Local, reasonable golf
Enjoyed playing at this unassuming, local course. Very reasonable prices for guests who need to rent equipment. Putting practice and driving range simple but accessible and also reasonably priced. Pleasant restaurant. Definitely recommend.
Gentle play on all 9 holes
Clear open fairways of obstacles and trees, well kept greens, easy conditions all round

Poor conditions and slow
Used to be an ok little course and the layout is quite good and challenging with tight holes
However the greens and conditions are poor and playing 18 is impossible as by the time you have finished 9 there’s usually a huge queue to tee off on the 1st/10th this is due lots of golfers and also not a great standard of golfers taking their time
Too busy
Too busy, only completed 9 holes as opposed to the 18 paid for. Appreciate it was the busiest day of the year due to sunshine, but the course layout made it fewl very congested.
Poor, would never play again
Looking online, the layout of the course looked amazing. The water hazards and pictures made the course looked like a great challenge I looked forward to.
I was informed the fairways were sodden which did not phase myself or my friends beforehand. The course was only slightly wet but what was massively disappointing was the course was not maintained at all. Myself and friends on the day lost so many balls on the fairway that we hoped we hit the bunker so at least we had a chance finding it.
We would never come back which is a shame because this course has great potential.
Enjoyable
Great fun, for mid to higher h/c. More about position than length. Greens were slow but very playable. Enough variety with the two different tee positions. Will definitely consider another visit
Nightmare of a round!
Waited almost 25 minutes to tee off. 9 holes took well over 2 hours. Couple two pairs in front had absolutely no idea about pace of play - and when the young lad in front of me asked if he could play through, he was given so much abuse that he walked off the course in tears. I gave up after 9 holes as I didn't have all afternoon to wait. Course is a little tired and wild too - I shall be giving this place a very, very wide berth in future.

Lovely course, other players very friendly. Nothing too much trouble for staff.
Great value for money course
Ideal for beginners or people who just want a relaxed round. Friendly and flexible staff. Would recommend for 9 holes!
