Played in exceptionally windy weather. Made the course somewhat harder. Seemed 80% of the holes were into the wind (only seemed that way?). Course was in great shape and the pace of play was good (4:10). Web paid reasonable off season rates. When the winter season arrives the rates go up sharply and the value suffers.

Do not trust GPS as this got us to a wrong mobile home place 20 mins away from the golf course.

Otherwise the course was good and lot of water and nice staff. People we play with are residents there very friendly and nice. We felt very welcomed and nice time done.

I know better courses for less money.

I brought a foursome there having played last year. It was their favorite course of the trip. The course is in excellent shape. Wide fairways, fair greens with enough undulation to make you look at your putt. Hazards along the way, but not forbidding. Can't wait to come back.

Great overall experience. Course gets better each time I play. Will definitely return.

Bonita National is a sprawling, wide-open course that is very user friendly. From the forward tees, water and other fairway hazards are almost never in play.

Our foursome used three different tees. Three out of four drives usually landed about the same distance from the green. A good thing in my opinion.

Greens are fairly fast. None of our foursome truly "broke the code" on this round.

Carts are gas powered. Ice and water are available at the pro shop and at intervals along the course. Restrooms, too.

Wildlife, especially birds, is abundant.

Course is not mature enough to warrant $43.00 per round. This course is only worth about $24.00 per round. Construction everywhere and the pace of play too slow. Very slow play. Too many beginner golfers that do not understand golf etiquette.

Starter should have spread people out more to insure a steady play instead he was squeezing people in.

I would not play here again nor would I recommend this course.

I am a not so good golfer. This course has wide fairways and is open in many areas making it forgiving for golfers like me. As a result I had a fun day which is why we play golf. Don't forget it is about having fun. Those really good shots are the sprinkles on the cake.

I arrived early and the pro asked me if I would like to tee off before a large group of ladies that tend to play a little slow. Glad I took the offer. Pace was excellent most of the time. Nice course with wide fairways making it hard to lose a ball but, not real challenging for low handicappers. My only complaint was the ball marks on the green. I fixed two or three others near mine every time but, barely made a dent in it.

Friendly course for all types of players

Fairly new development and there are a number of large building works under way. Houses are all very close to the fairways. Not really any hazards unless you tee off from the Blue or championship tees. I teed from the blue which did bring some water into play. Fairways and greens are in ok condition but overall I was disappointed , especially after playing Old Corkscrew last week. The main picture of the amazing looking green surrounded by water on the webpage is actually the practice chipping area and none of the actual holes look like this. I still had a good morning of golf but with the choice in this area there are better courses for the same money.

I met 3 players from Michigan and had a very good time. Unfortunately, the course is not on any GPS

I used 2 apps (includng the one from golf non) before calling the course to get the easy but way off directions. I nearly missed the t-time

Also, I say more alligators on that course than I have in ten years (and I live in Florida)

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The practice facilities were well kept and conveniently located. The fairways were lush and fairly easy to hit. The greens were quick, but they were a little bumpy in spots due to recent aeration. I am planning to play this course every time I' in the area.

Nice course, very new with development of new homes ongoing. Not a fan of driving range into a pond with targets. Greens had been aerated about 3 weeks before and were still a little slow. I would play there again, nice layout. This will be a great course once development is completedn

Excellent condition for such a young course. Sprinkler heads for yardage could be difficult to find unless you are always playing from the middle of the fairway. Generous fairways with challenging approach shots. Extremely hot day when we played; water stations available every six holes; but no towels provided. It would have been helpful if they were included in the carts. Overall, a great course and we certainly want to play it again. Recommend playing it now, because when it goes private it will be an opportunity lost. Other reviews had mentioned the amount of construction creating a distraction. While there is a busy amount of activity, did not feel it as a distraction.

My father owns a Veranda and I have now played this course 5 times. If you have not played this course before, I recommend getting advice for off the tee shots from someone who has played it. The first round will be tough if you don't know the layout well. Driver for me was not needed on many holes. Course conditions are as good as any course I've played in my life. Very impressed with staff friendliness and professionalism. My only complaint is very ticky-tacky, but greens are a little rough in some spots but I'm sure staff will correct it no problem. I cannot wait to come back and play this course again and again!

The course was in great shape. Not a difficult course. Water on almost every hole but never comes into play (no forced carries except on one hole). Rolling wide fairways. The proshop staff were rude, however Tom the starter was very friendly, welcoming and helpful!

The head pro Adam was hitting on my girlfriend the entire time she was in the pro shop and made her feel very uncomfortable.

The course is very plain. Front nine seems like all the holes are the same. A lot of weeds on the course and the bunkers had a bunch of grass along edge where sand should be. Bunkers had a lot of sand.

They charge members for using the range!!
