ChampionsGate Country Club

This was a great course for being only about a year old. The greens rolled very true and were in excellent condition and overall condition of the course was excellent. There were wide open landing areas but enough sand traps and quick greens to make the course challenging. Great value for the money.

Real fair course for an elderly such as myself. Not difficult to find the fairways. Extra wide, and forgiving. The greens were fantastically maintained.

Everything about this course lives up to the hype. We wanted to play a 36 after we just finished playing 36. This course was beautifully put together and well taken care of from the 1st to the 18th, staff were all super friendly and very accommodating.

Played here on a buddies trip. Course was in great shape and we all loved it. Layout is fun and requires some planning on your tee shots to avoid bunkers. Pace of play was excellent and have played here before and never been an issue. Greens were tough to read and we usually over read the breaks. The only complaint we had was the bunkers and the minimal top layer of sand. But then again a bunker is supposed to be a penalty for a wayward shot so they shouldn’t be pristine but we are used to having fluffy sand down in Florida. Would definitely play here again and bring my friends and family

My wife and I come down to Championsgate twice per year and this course never fails to disappoint. The staff is exceptional and the starters are knowledgeable and make great recommendations.

I highly recommend the course. Rain checks available if you get rained out at the turn. We didn’t know that but they gave us a rain check the next day when we played again. Play the tees based on your ability and you’ll have fun.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course was in perfect condition and is a great layout.

What a great deal. We got on for about $70 each (had Hot Deal credits) in the mid afternoon. I can see why it generally is $120+. Range balls waiting for you and tons of space to warm up. Course was in beautiful shape and we didn’t have to wait at all. Easily the highlight of our vacation down here - we would play here all week happily.

Got there early to hit range balls and they got us tee'doff early. Friendly staff, fun and forgiving course. Nice wide fairways with some cool features on the way. Beautiful greens and all around great experience.

This is our third time playing ChampionsGate Country Club this season. It's one of the best places to play in the $130 range during peak season in this area. Better than Mystic Dunes and less expensive than the other ChampionsGate courses. The pro shop staff was consistently welcoming. The starters have been friendly and competent. Pace of play on Mondays is a bit slower due to being open to the public and packed tee sheet, but with ten minute spacing we played in just over four hours. Range balls are included although pretty beat up which I expect from the sandy soil hitting off dormant Bermuda. We plan on making this one of our regular spots to play when visiting each February as long as they keep allowing public play to some degree.

Course was in great shape overall. Greens were solid. A bit slow, but rolled great.

Pace of play was abysmal however. Ranger did not seem to do anything to make it move faster.

Conditions were very good for February golf… would recommend a must play if your in the area. It is difficult to book a time if you don’t look well in advance.

There are lots of better places to golf in Orlando

I teed off at 3pm thinking I would get in 13 or 14 holes.....course was in great condition with beautiful greens but I left after 90 minutes as I waited with 2 other groups on 6th tee box.

Staff is great, but the course was underwhelming for the price. No real feeling of nature that other courses offer. Just houses and a few small lakes. 4/5 because the conditions were great especially for a cold day and the staff was very accommodating. I would not come back because the price didn’t match the experience of similar priced courses.

Championsgate is a regular play when I’m in the Orlando area. The course was in good shape and the greens rolled fast. The pace of play was okay for this busy time of year. I would suggest not playing on Wednesday mornings as there is a men’s league that slows down play. Otherwise, give it a shot.

Everything is in good condition, layout is not challenging.

Like this course but question whether it’s worth the price of the morning tea times. Always well maintained and pace of play well monitored. Rarely see an on course trolley/ refreshments service.
