Short but sweet
Pros- beautiful well maintained,high slope,challenging track..Tee shots need to be accurate.Greens are nothing close to flat. Cons- never seen a course with so many townhomes surrounding most holes.Overall,would play again when passing thru..Definitely an alternative to Baywood.

Great day for golf
I got paired with Joe from Milton and off we went as a two on a beautiful afternoon.
Pace of play was fantastic - the young man and his father ahead of us were moving along, too on the front.
Greens were still recovering from recent aeration, but overall the course is shaping up well from winter.
Still hoping the back 8 will get some trees someday to shape these holes :-)

The recent aeration of greens w/ micro tines/sanding was mitigated, somewhat by rainy conditions. Fairways and approaches beautiful and hit every fairway in fine shape. Had 4 birds, but missed 6 more. Love this course.

Beautiful course
It's a really nice course that was in great shape except for the greens. They were recently aerated and sanded and were wicked fast. Made it tough on approach and putting. But that said, it also had some 300-yard par 4's that could be birdied as well and some 400+ yard par 4's that were challenging for most all golfers. It has a great driving range, putting green and chip area. The golf shop is small and there were no beverage carts for staying hydrated. The pro shop had water, etc., but if you did not get anything before your round started, you could be very dehydrated before the first 9 is over - it was mid 80's when I was there.

Great match play course
Some really short par 4's balanced out by some really long par 4's. A few of the greens have crazy undulations. If you like the course, you'll want to play it again just to see if you can figure out how to strategically play some of the holes.
The staff couldn't have been nicer. Greens were hard and fast, though I hear they get much faster into the season.
Will definitely go back again several times this year.

Great experience
What's not to like? Great conditions, interesting layout and friendly staff. The pace of play was somewhat slow, but understandable given it was a beautiful weekend day. One thing first-timers should be aware of is the greens are fast and there are virtually no straight puts, especially on the back nine. I have a fairly low handicapp and 3-putted half the greens on the back.

Great day at Plantation Lakes
Always a challenging round at PL. Pick your tees wisely. A serious case of winter pins made for some putting issues. Still think #3 should be a par 5. Not a fan of #5, a blind layup tee shot on a par 5's, first timers have no shot at making par. Back 9 is sensational and now packed with housing but don't worry non in play. I will definitely be back.
