Excellent course
Course was in great shape. Staff was awesome. I couldn’t ask for anything better after driving 2 1/2 hours to play there. Can’t wait to go back.

Densely Packed Housing
Plantation is a very good golf course. The layout is fun and the practice facilities are great. I last played the course 3 years ago when they just opened the back nine and it was great. Returning now I was shocked at how many houses and townhouses have been built and surround almost the entire course. It feels a bit like Northeast Philly. Mass development by Lennar with zero charm. Every possible square foot around the course is or will be built up. So, if you come here expecting a serene golf experience you will be disappointed, especially when there are so many other courses to play.

Cart problems
Course is well laid out. Well maintained. GPS carts need updating. 1). Cart got stranded in a tunnel couldn’t go forward. Had to reverse out
2)At hole 9 tee ordered for via cart gps.. Walked into clubhouse and was told by food staff that the system is fault and doesn’t send orders.
Waited at the bar to order a beer. Tender was too busy talking shop with another customer that had a full drink on hand.
3) cart stopped moving forward. A second time. Had to put in reverse and then forward again and press the acceleratorat 25 percent to get moving.
Overall a good course but no apologies for their mishaps and no attempt to make up for their shortcomings.
