Good value
Excellent course for the money. Staff were very friendly ..will definitely go back again..
Lots of bunkers & hills
Bunker Hill is a hidden 12-hole gem, hidden from the highway and urban sprawl because of the terrain but as challenging a par-3 as you will find in Toronto. The road is gravel, the parking lot is small, the patio is modest and the clubhouse is a trailer, which means the course itself gets all the attention and it is charming. Negotiating such a hilly track takes skill and strategy but it really does feel like one is golfing in Scotland with its variety of elevations and scenic views, unforgiving fescue, tricky pot bunkers and undulating greens. I do suggest those not inclined to walk should most definitely ride.
Too Difficult
Course is in great shape. Tee boxes and greens are in immaculate condition. Only issue is if you mishit you won’t be finding your ball. All the holes are surrounded with hills and extremely thick brush. A bad bounce here or there and your ball is launched into another dimension. I would not recommend the course to beginners. If you have no problem throwing darts then it’s a great course.
Great course to play irons and putting
Not an easy par 3 course but challenging and fun course.
Green condition is awesome.
Great 12 hole course
Golf originally started with 12 holes and this new course revives that tradition. A course with 12 par 3’s, where you can play almost every club in your bag, is a treat. Greens are superb and getting round in 2 hours might just be the answer to today’s fast paced life. I cannot recommend this course highly enough - it’s a wee cracker!
Fun course
Bunker hill is a well layed out and challenging par 3 course. If you want a quick round this us the place. Don't expect to score really well
Hidden Gem!!
This is an amazing value for golf these days. Only 12 holes BUT.... for a par 3 it is very tricky to score well on. If your looking for a quick round and then on with the rest of your day this is the spot!!
Challenging Par 3
This is a par 3 course but you will need most of your clubs. Some very challenging holes and the greens have a fair degree of difficulty. All in all a fun 12 holes at a very fair price.
PGA conditions
awesome experience in every way possible. greens were perfect and tee off decks as well as rough in better than ideal conditions!!! well done to the staff and course maintainance people!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unexpected
When I went here for the first time I was thinking ok all par 3 this could suck. And then I got there and wow that’s the most fun I’ve had on a par 3 course ever. Every hole a little different and some real beautiful views. If you haven’t been here you have to check it out.
Worth The Drive To Pickering
Out past the houses, and hidden between farmers fields lies this little gem. 12 holes, all par 3s, each with its own challenges. Recommend a cart, unless you enjoy walking up/down hills. Will be even better once the permanent clubhouse is built (next season?).
The practice green gives you only a little taste of the undulating greens you'll face here. Course is well kept. Only suggestion is to have signs at the tee boxes showing an aerial depiction of the hole, so we we know what we're in for. Hole 5 is a 200+ yard almost totally blind shot to an elevated, undulating green. If you're 1 foot short of the green, you're done. I hit the green, but then 4 putted. Wicked!!
not all par threes are created equal
Lots of fun figuring yardages, wind, slopes etc. 3 long holes to challenge, can be made by the brave and steady. Lovely view from the top of the course. A good way to spend a couple of hours. The greens are interesting, starting big time at the first hole.
