Rancho Del Rey Golf Club

Having played this course a number of times I knew what to expect. It is challenging from each of the three tees. The condition was good with the possible exception of over watering. The fairways were quite wet as were the greens, but the added benefit was that the greens were holding very nicely. I would play it again even with the 45 to 60 minute drive from my home. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

This is a fun course that is in great shape. nice friendly people running it, with a good 19th.

As usual,, a fun time with friends. The layout is good . A little challenging for me as I get older. Now 80. But all in all a fine time was had by all. The Greens are in exceptional shape. Quick and true. Thank you.

Golf at Rancho Del Rey is always fun. The fairways are still "growing in" from the winter but most lyes were o.k. I was very pleased with the greens. It looked like they had just been mowed and rolled. They were true and fairly quick. I had two birdies in the first 5 holes as a result. (very unusual for me) Unfortunately, I got rained out on the 6th whole. I will be going back in the very near future and try it again.

Golfed here on a Wednesday so not too crowded. Very nice layout and overall the course in good shape. The greens could use a little help but seems more like a maintenance issue. Lots of trees, water and bunkers. Very forgiving course for the most part. Going back.

Fairways are decent, greens have patches of dirt, I played there for 33 bucks a person due to a hot deal, other wise it isn't worth much more than that, but overall, decent.

Considering we are coming out of one of the hottest summers in the northern California valley, you would expect the fairways to be slightly brown and greens to be faster than Plaid (See Spaceballs reference). I was very surprised to see that the fairways were well maintained, and in some parts a little soggy from over watering. The greens were full of ball markings (what do you expect from a public course), and relatively slow. The bunkers were fairly easy to get out of, but still good practice if you're faced with an overhanging cliff sand wedge shot. My golf pattern still looks like a pinball table, but the course is forgiving enough not to discourage the "learning class". overall, I enjoyed it and look forward to playing there more often in the future.

the course is in very good condition, the new management is doing an excellent job with changes to the course and pro shop and bar and cafe areas.

The staff is ever so friendly and cooperative I have high regards for the job their doing and look forward to even better things to come

Play here often. Course is maintained despite a lot of unappreciative golfers that go through there. (Fix your ball marks and rake the traps). Casual dress is acceptable which is nice. Lots of trees and shade. Fun and challenging.
