Great weather and cold hot dogs

It was perfect weather out at Birch yesterday. I got paired with a couple of older fellas who were friendly. The marshall was driving around and having friendly chats with everyone. People need to learn to fix their divots on the green but otherwise the course was in good shape. My hot dog from the 19th hole was so cold it was almost like they took it straight out of the fridge.

Course was fun

First time at this course and it was a good time. Greens were a bit hard but still extremely enjoyable. The course in my opinion is very well kept for being a smaller course. Would definitely return to this course.

Nice for price but overpacked and no pace of play.

Played at 215pm and only got 13 holes in by sunset (545pm) because multiple groups in front had young kids playing and no respect for pace of play. Literally waited 20 minutes on multiple holes where 2-3 groups stacked up on tee box. Not bad conditions for cheap course but obviously frustrating waiting that long to play and not finishing an executive course.

Horrible pace of play

Have played Birch many many times ( least twice a month) Today was horrible pace of play. Normally finish 18 holes in 3 hrs.. Today, 18 in over 4 1/2 hrs!

Seems a lot of these players are lacking good golf etiquette also… Birch might need to start having a Marshall cruise the course. Not sure if they are starting to ‘overbook’ tee times… this is second time in 2 weeks this has been the issue. Birch might need to Have a Marshall or Ambassador ‘ out on the course to move things along (?) Other than that, I enjoy playing there

A bit busy surprizingly

Winds had gusts up to 45 mph and pretty consistent at 25 mph made for a challenging day. You would think that it would be wide open on a Friday however we had to wait a few minutes at each hole primarily due to a new golfer having a difficult time.
