Bad Shape
Worst shape I have ever seen this course. You can tell it is tired from the amount of play it gets and it isn't healing well. Tee to green conditions are pretty bad for a more expensive executive course. They also have rerouted the holes and it doesn't flow smooth at all anymore. Clubhouse and course staff are great but overall really disappointed and won't be back soon.
Thank you for playing Birch Hills and leaving a review. Yes, the increased play has put an additional strain on the course and that can be seen from time to time. We have been working very hard to address all trouble areas which includes our bunker renovation that is underway. We are also working on the rerouting and refining the experience of this new layout. We are in the process of putting in additional signage to ensure a smoother flow of the course. We appreciate your comments and are hard at work trying to make the best experience possible at Birch Hills. We hope you will try us again in the future to experience our changes.
Thank you for leaving a review and playing Birch Hills. We are sorry that your experience was anything short of 5-stars. We hope in the future, we may earn a 5-star experience.
Good par 3 got even better!
As always, very friendly staff and affordable. Took my wife for her first round and had an awesome experience! Glad they revamped their course layoff, it makes a lot more sense and played better than before!
Thank you for the 4-star review! What is your favorite part of the rerouting?
Course is in rough shape
The course is completely dead. They ran out of working golf carts so we had to wait 20 min past our Tee time to start. When we did get carts, they died halfway through the round and one had a flat tire. Hard pill to swallow when you get charged $11/per person for a cart and they are in such poor conditions
Hi Steve, thank you for reaching out and leaving a review. We would like to speak with your further about this. Please email me at adow@birchhillsgolf.com.
Overall Good
Overall a good course for the price.
For how crowded it was, the pace of play was very good.
Only two complaints.
- Greens we’re pretty rough
- The Marshall that rides around was super unfriendly, he even proceeded to get in our cart and move it off the path further up so we had to walk further so he didn’t have to move his cart off the path. Even though he was coming from the opposite way. Odd guy.
Thank you for playing Birch Hills! We are actively working on the course to ensure a smooth playing surface and even more enjoyable rounds. Please back and try us again soon to see our progress.
Easy Fun course
Course is an executive style course greens fairly slow but condition was fine being its mid july. Would recommend and eating and dining there is fun.
Thank you for the 4-star review! We hope to see you again soon!

Short and Sweet
Good condition, nice variety of holes. We will be back.
Looking forward to seeing you again!
Slow pace , confusing layout but decent overall
The course was very confusing as they start you out on like hole 11 which if it's your 1st time there .... You don't know it's different hole... and if you are keeping s
core electronically on your phone for an app... it can be frustrating at times, Anyways it was very confusing and crowded with too many threesomes allowed who then play multiple balls causing delays on every hole since majority are par 3's ...
Some of the greens were in pretty bad shape but considering how many knock it in continuously throughout the day I guess it should be expected. Overall I really liked the driving range and I would definitely return since it's a pretty good value.
Thank you for leaving a review and playing Birch Hills. Our course starts on #1 which is a par 3. We will work on the experience you had here to try for a better experience next time. Hope to see you in the future.
Thank you for the 5-star review!
Nice executive course. Friendly staff.
The staff was super friendly. The layout of the course is new, but this was the first time I played it, so I can’t compare it to the old layout. Overall conditions were okay. Quite a few unrepaired ball marks on the greens, which is to be expected on an executive course. A couple of the bunkers looks looked they needed some work, but overall good conditions. Quite a few short par threes with a handful of longer par threes. The par fours mostly under 300 yards, with 2 or 3 around 320 or so. Good place to work on your short to mod irons.
Thank you for leaving a review. We are working on a special campaign for July for the ball marks on our greens. Stay tuned!
Just want to say the staff is always friendly, fun and attentive ! Always a good time
