Unbelievable
The greens were decent. However, the fairways were horrible.
Very enjoyable
I know kern county has been having water issues and some courses have it tougher than other but for the price and conditions I would play here again l love the layout of this course and its so much fun to play if you keep it in play
Not bad for Cal City
First time playing this course. Staff were nice, the course however is in poor shape. It's to be somewhat expected in the desert, but for instance even some of the putting greens have patches of dead grass. Nice thing was the pacing was great on a Sunday morning, not exactly a prime spot but I was not rushed at all.
Conditions
The course has for the most part good enough greens but the fairwauare very poor and the lack of red tee marlers is poor. Wouldn't play again and glad I only paid 25 dollars!!!
Great value
It is a great course for the price but bring plenty of balls because even a fairway shot might get lost in sprinkler repair, gopher hole, or tall grass.
I would play again.
Greens and fairways are real bad
Fairways are really bad at the moment can lose your ball fairly easy they need to trim and water lot of dirt areas not fun to play anymore
Good course
The layout is a very nice design but a lot of areas are dead grass. And if you’re not consistent with hitting fairways, you’re on dirt. But I still very much enjoy this course and the people who work there. The front desk lady is enjoyable
Course In TERRIBLE Shape
Staff was VERY friendly. He warned me that the course wasn’t in that great of shape, and that was an understatement. Been playing for over 15 years, and I’ve never played a course this bad. Greens were in good shape but fairways, bunkers, and paths were deplorable. It’s a shame because the layout is AMAZING! But you can tell California City NEGLECTS this course. Pictures must be YEARS old. Pictures are MIDDLE OF FAIRWAY

You get your moneys worth forsure for 18 holes just wish they would try to bring back some of the fairways back to life with more grass and more green
What a day on the course
Great day to golf, slight breeze on a sunny after noon. Course seems to be looking better and better from when I first started going a few years ago. Keep doing what your doing there. Can’t wait to get out there again.
Very challenging course
Shot my lowest score for that course on Sunday, so can’t wait to get back and do it again.
fun course and challenging layout
have played this course many times and love the layout.great pace of play too.could use some sand in the sand traps and a couple of the greens were rough but overall the greens were coming back after sanding.Will definitely come back it's worth the drive from Bakersfield
