Shadow Mountain Golf Course

A super relaxed course where you could just chill and have fun, I really enjoyed it and the staff was great. Its a short course so lots of birdies to burst my ego, would recommend 👍.

Very unique and glad we experienced the oldest course in the desert. Old style with small greens that were slow and marginal. Course layout was ok but we will not go back to play a 2nd time.

We’ve played here a couple times. It is an old unique course with a lot of character. The entire atmosphere is fun and friendly. Not the greatest course in the valley but one of the most fun. The entire staff is unbelievably friendly. We played 18 today in 2 1/2 hours. And had a great lunch.

The course is in excellent condition from tee to green. It’s open and fun for players of beginning to advanced levels. The workers are very friendly.

Walked off after 9 when there was 4 groups on the 10th hole with no marshal in site.

I'm not sure how this course could stay in business when they allow 3-4 groups on every hole; have no marshals to keep people moving; and I'm guessing, get business because the name sounds like another course that's really nice.

On top of that, Golf Now does not allow people to actually read the reviews that have been written for some reason, so nobody will get to see this comment anyway.

Had I actually been able to see comments about this course, I am guessing I would not have wasted 90.00 to play 9 holes.. yes, I had to walk away after 9 holes because there were three groups on the tee, one in the fairway and one on the green at the 10th hole.

I went off the ratings without actually looking at the course on their website. No cart girl, rough grass was very high, very cheap trailer trash vibes. A course like this is more like $50 in Arizona. Not sure why it’s more expensive here. Just as hot and in the desert.

This was a nice course. It is tight with narrow fairways and tee boxes close to greens. It is an easy walking course but you may find several novice golfers here. I would play again for a rate of no more than $60 riding. After you play is where you get your money’s worth. The staff is fabulous and the burgers/dogs on the grill and bar are awesome. The outdoor area is perfect for a cool down after play. The combination of the course and the atmosphere made this a good round. More emphasis on the after golf than the course.
