Diamond in the rough
Very impressive Capital improvements to the golf course!
Shadow mountain
Course in excelant shape , narrow fairways with left and right doglegs to test our golf skills . Greens have just enough undulations to test green reading skills and firm enough to test your speed putting skills . Grounds are well kept and the marshall keeps the group's moving at a nice pace .

Course in Transition
Shadow Mountain is very much a course in transition, with new ownership.
While traps have new sand, it needs to have new rakes that allow you to rake sand properly. In most cases the sand wasn’t raked at all.
Greens needs some work as well, very bumpy and quite firm( won’t hold even a well struck short iron.
It is obvious that the course is finally getting the TLC is deserves!

Pace of play was good. Course offered some moderate challenges. Course layout was interesting.

Great target golf track, and phenomenal customer service in all areas, from the guy who drove a cart up to our car, to the starter. Special thanks to Baxter for assisting with adjusting our tee time and helping us in the restaurant

Greens
The course is tight in areas but that is fine if the greens are fair. There are to many unfair greens. Either grow the grass longer or reconstruct the greens.

Find another course
To start ..pro shop unfriendly, then starter told me Covid masks aren’t needed here (not 1 staff person wore a mask). We were 25 minutes late in starting because golf carts weren’t available. So disorganized! Course has a very weird layout, not well marked for cart traffic so confusing which way to go. Hitting to the green can be tricky as we were warned by everyone. Fairway way to tight with housing. Not fun!
