Great Course for Mid - High Handicaps
Really enjoyed the course. It was challenging but fair. Lots of bunkers but only a few water holes. Greens were relatively easy if you kept the ball below the hole. Fairways and tee boxes were well groomed. All in all a fun course to play.

Fun Local Course
I first played Shadow Mountain in 2021, at the time the course was coming under new management and it was in 'ok' condition but not great. Fast forward to 2022 and the course is in really nice shape, the greens are fast and tricky. This isn't a long course and it's not a fancy 'resort course' but it's fun to play, the staff is awesome, pace of play is really good (4 hours or less most of the time) and it feels like a community. A really nice place to enjoy a round of golf.

Fabulous course
Beautiful course. The landscape is impeccable. It was unfortunate the bar staff was already closed. We teed off at 1:50 and unable to purchase anything. Luckily there was an outside water dispenser. The temp was 89fF.

Narrow fairways, in great shape
Luckily you won’t be in too much trouble if you hit out of the fairways but they are narrow. Good pace of play, great value for the money. Call ahead for sandwiches at the turn.

Fun, friendly and economical
Always play Shadow Mountain a few times during our annual desert stay. It’s in wonderful condition, surrounded by fun mid-century modern homes and presents a nice challenge for the average golfer as well as the low handicapper. The staff and crew are about the friendliest you’ll find. Finally, the cost to play is very reasonable. Looking forward to playing Shadow Mountain again next year!

Shadow mountain
Course in excelant shape , narrow fairways with left and right doglegs to test our golf skills . Greens have just enough undulations to test green reading skills and firm enough to test your speed putting skills . Grounds are well kept and the marshall keeps the group's moving at a nice pace .

Course in Transition
Shadow Mountain is very much a course in transition, with new ownership.
While traps have new sand, it needs to have new rakes that allow you to rake sand properly. In most cases the sand wasn’t raked at all.
Greens needs some work as well, very bumpy and quite firm( won’t hold even a well struck short iron.
It is obvious that the course is finally getting the TLC is deserves!
