Babcock National

This was my second time playing Babcock National and I was just as impressed as I was the first time. My only complaint is that the pace of play got very slow on the back nine. But that happens on every course once in a while.

For the money, it’s hard to find a better condition Course in SWFL! Free range balls, good pace of play, fairways and greens in excellent shape!

They don’t allow 3 carts so the non playing wives had to squeeze in with the kids and dads having an epic battle!

We play here when we are down here with work and have never been dissatisfied. I wanted to play here one more time before the snowbirds got here and the rates skyrocket. Course was in perfect condition and am glad to see they are building some bathrooms on the course. This place is going to go private eventually so I will play here as long as I can👍👍👍👍

Other than CPO today, it was 1 great day. Nice layout. Huge greens. Damp fairways so very little roll. Staff always very friendly.

I have been hearing about this place for a year. Finally made it out and was so pleased with the course and the condition. For Florida this is a true championship course. A few 500 Yard holes and many 400+. It was a joy to play and the pace was excellent. Carr lady could not have been better. She had a great smile and was always able to please. I plan on making this my go to course when in fort Myers. No more driving the Cape for me.

Course was in great shape.Tja grass was cut and all the bunkers were raked.

Sanded greens and definitely can tell we needs some rain.

Greens just punched and sanded, but no mention by the staff.

The golf course was in very good condition, the greens were in good shape and the staff was very friendly, as always. The golf course starts out with some short holes then stretches out and becomes more difficult. I would recommend going to play the golf course. But you should be aware that there no on course amenities. Bathrooms on the course are port a potties, there is no place to get water, except at the turn, there is no restaurant/bar and very limited food choices from the cart girl. Who I only saw once. They are working on these things but it seems to be moving at a very slow pace.

Love playing there even though it is a 45 min drive from my home. Only complaint is their new GPS screens are so dark you can't see them. I asked and they said there is no way to turn them up. Disappointing.
