Favorite Local Course
Wildhorse is the one public course in the DFW area that I’m always up for the near-hour it takes me to get there. Even with the rough summer we’re having, they manage to keep it great shape. The layout is great, and each nine (27-hole complex currently) has visually appealing finishing hole.
It’s challenging enough for the average hacker like me, but not so tough that it’s discouraging. And the staff are really nice to work with.
Denton has a great course !!

Course is in great condition for all the hot weather we have had. Greens are wonderful. One of my favorite courses in the area.

Quality
Course is well maintained. Forgiving layout was nice but does have water and bunkers that come in play. Love the course!

I played the North & South combo
The course was in great shape, especially considering the hot and dry weather we have been having. Beautiful layout, plenty of water to drink, clean bathrooms on the course. Even had access to an ice machine about halfway through the north course. The staff was very friendly. I would recommend heading to the grill or the restaurant afterwards. Can’t go wrong either way.

Great course
The course was in great shape. Always a great time. The North course has a few risk/reward holes. If your willing to play in the heat, it was wide open in front of our group.

Could be better
Overall the course and facilities are in great shape, as they normally are. I live just a few miles from the course and play here as often as I can. Couple things that could make the experience better:
1. Include range balls with the green fee. For $96 per person, I don’t feel you should have to pay for range balls
2. Bar/grill is open at only certain times. Increase time that it is open and increase offerings. Courses in the area have much more offerings here and are charging less for green fees
3. Didn’t see the beverage cart until after we teed off on our 18th hole
4. No mention of the greens being punched recently. I understand this is required to maintain a course, but a notice would be nice and possibly a discounted rate

Great conditions
RR is definitely becoming one of our favorite places. The 3-9’s make for interesting combinations for the 18 holes.
Tee boxes, fairways and greens are excellent.
Surprisingly several elevation changes add to the course layout variations.
Excellent value for the money and the bonus 2 sleeves of Chromesoft balls made for an extra
Special value for the holiday weekend.

Very impressed!
I'm a 4.5 and this was my first time out. Played the South and West courses. It was in incredible condition. They punched the greens maybe 10 days to 2 weeks prior. Once the greens fill all the way in this course is 10 out of 10. Needs maybe 1 more week and it's perfect! Tee boxes (I played black) were perfect, fairways were plush. Bunkers were perfect. The greens keeper is doing a wonderful job. I didn't hit on the range so I don't know if it's on grass.
I'm definitely coming back soon!

Amazing Course!!
Everything was top notch! Very unique setup with 3 separate 9 hole courses….getting to play a new 9 each time! Beautiful amenities and staff was super friendly! Will definitely be going back!

Definitely one to add to your list
What a great experience. Played West/North courses. Tee boxes were in excellent condition with perfect turf and nicely leveled. Fairways were firm and fast with wide landing areas and only a few places where hazards crossed the fairway or required precision.
The greens had been punched (likely within +/- 3 weeks) but were well cut and rolled relatively true.
Played from the Blue tees and beat my GHIN by 2 shots even with a double bogey oops on a par 3.
We’ll definitely be back again soon!
