Diablo Hills Golf Course

A nice 9 hole track to get some good swings in. You can use a pretty good mix of clubs including a Driver a couple times or more depending on your length. The sand traps seem to have gotten better over the last month. The fairways are always in good shape. The greens are decent save for a small portion of the 7th that looks like it has some burning in a few spots but that's a rare occurance. And as always if more of us would fix ball marks the putting world would be a better place.

This 9 hole golf course has typically been well maintained. It provides a great opportunity to sneak 9 holes in either early in the morning or after work. There is a nice variety of holes including some elevation changes and doglegs (and even a Par 5). I would recommend this course to anyone in the area looking for a quick round or even the beginning golfer.

I saved $$ through golfnow.com; it should have been "fast play" but the womens club had just finished with their "friends tournament": over 60 people. By the time we checked in they were all in the Grill having a great time so they are blameless.
Two groups in front of us (a 3some) stalled everyone (5 more groups). The pace of play was slow to say the least, but the day was perfect so we started playing two balls and threw away our score cards. We normally play 9 holes in 1 1/2 hrs. (more or less), but we played this 9 in 2 1/2 hrs. I still recommend this course. It's fun, interesting, and good practice. It has never been slow before. Happy golfing everyone.

This 9 hole course can be walked easily in less than 2 hrs. The holes are somewhat short and driver is not often the best tee shot. The greens were fine, but a bit on the slow side. The fairway sand is prevalent and is usually the barrier to barreling recklessly down the fairway. The sand is quite firm and challenging to blast out of if you are near the green.

I like the fact that this course is only 9 holes, yet has a par 5. The staff is pretty unfriendly to those of us that scoop up the early tee times at an extreme discount. But it is fairly well maintained and offers some amount of challenge. I love to play this course if I can get it cheap with my friends.

Took advantage of the early t-time offered in GolfNow and played with my wife. Had a great time, we were lucky and had nice slot, without people harrying or slowing us. Beautiful early morning California weather!!

Staff was very nice. Nine hole with some challenging holes and difficult greens, finishing with a sea of sand traps on number 9.

Because it has only one Par 5 , it's a perfect course for a short game workout. With plenty of sand around most greens ,and its shorter than usual par 3s and 4s, it rewards great 9-iron, wedge and putter play. The one par 5 is all uphill , like hole#1 par 4 at Tilden, but longer, so you have one hole to practice fairway woods/hybrids on a sloped fairway . It's a real challenging Par 5. The green pin placements are honest and the surface is not too fast. A great 2 hour alternative to the driving range for me.

Great little executive with lots of sand traps. If you like target/strategic golf you won't go wrong here. Greens and fairways are in good shape even with recent rain.

Very nice 9 hole course. Has some long holes and can pull your driver out more than a couple times which is rare on most of the area 9's that I have played. 7:30am tee times under $10 from golfnow make this a great way to get your day started.

Have played the 7:30 for $5 through golfnow and played reround for $12. That's 18 holes for $17 early morning - hard to beat! These were walking prices, but pretty easy to walk.

This is a real course, not some pitch and putt. I would have given 5 stars if there where more tee boxes. Only one tee box per hole. or if it had 18 holes. Everything else was great. Lots of par 4s and a par 5.

Diablo Hills is an intriguing nine hole course. I love the fact that unlike most 9-hole executives, Diablo Hills' layout is fair enough to allow you to hit driver which makes for a great practice round. Golf Now has some amazing deals for this course that makes playing a quick early morning round cheaper than a bucket of balls. I love it!

The course keeps you on your toes, it has some very challenging holes and tee's. If you can hit the ball straight you should be ok! The Par 3's are a fun little mix as well, one of them is only 88 yards but you tee from an elevated tee box to a blind green so much fun!! Overall I had a great time and will be back!

This is a delightful 9 hole course with all the challenges and fun of an 18 hole course. The usual price seems a bit high but I got a great deal on golfnow which made it a fantastic value

A litle expensive for 9 holes of golf, but good thing is close to town, easy to get on and play.
