Chrcked in easily, crowded play but overall a good course.
Fun 9-hole course
If you are trying to get a better feel for the game and don’t want to play an executive course, Diablo Hills is the course for you. Includes a par 5 to keep you sharp and a few par 4s that you can drive the green for eagle chances. Fun course and better atmosphere than Buchanan golf course
Challenging for some...
For the price, I would rather play 18. There is little available shade in the blazing hot sun. The course was fun to play and presented some good challenges and if I lived locally, I would play it more ofter. Too far to come for a mediocre 9 hole expense.
But the turkey wrap in the outdoor cafe were extraordinary! So maybe it is worth reconsideration!

Played in a thanksgiving tournament
The staff was very friendly, the tournament has been going on for quite a few years now. Would definitely play the course again! The food in the clubhouse is AMAZING
Great Turnaround
I’ve been golfing at this course over the last 10 years and I think they’ve done a great job with course management and upgrades to The Greenery! Would fully recommend it to anyone for the golf experience or the clubhouse. Great feeling to see the money well spent.
The best par nine hole course around
When you think about a nine hole course most would think of a bunch of par threes and a few par fours, Flat and no hazards
Diablo Hills has one par five , four par fours and four par threes. It was designed as an eighteen hole course and later reduced to a nine hole course.
If you are bored with the standard nine hole courses try Diablo Hills as you will then have a real challenge
Great practice 9 hole
When you are working on your short game. This is a good place for that and walking the course help get your mental game.
Fun little course
As a beginner (just started playing a few weeks ago) this course is perfect for me! 9 holes., par 34, well maintained greens and lovely views of Mt. Diablo. Will definitely come back here.
Great Outing
The facilities were great & the staff was friendly!
The course was in great shape, but played a little slow today because of all the walkers.
Still had a great time & we’ll be back soon!
Great place
I took my nephew and son, who are both beginner/intermediate golfers and we had a great experience. Greens played consistent and were in great shape, along with the rest of the course. Would recommend for anyone looking for a starter course with the added pressure of not hitting a house!
Food is awesome too!
Fun 9 hole course
Diablo Hills is a fun 9 hole course in the middle of Walnut Creek. Although a par 34 it offers some challenging holes for most golfers. The fairways, greens, and bunkers (and there are plenty) are in very good shape the day we played. I definitely recommend it.
