About
The Gold Course from Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills is the only 18-hole course at the facility. Designed by Frank Hummel, the course opened in 1959 and used to include the 9 holes of the Blue Course as the front nine. Currently however, both the Gold and the Blue are separate courses. The landscape of the Gold is hilly and seven ponds create a beautiful atmosphere while also adding challenging water hazards to eleven holes. Although the entire course is scenic, the 12th hole is considered to have the most picturesque views. Its elevated tee offers gorgeous vistas of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills is known not only for its gorgeous scenery, it has also received acclaim from golf publications such as Golf Digest.

Gold Course was golden
Good time and the course was in fine shape. Give it a try.
Good course to play
Really like the layout of course. Need marshal out checking on pace of play. Took 6 hours to play 18. Most time spent for many many years.
Public Coarse
This is a public coarse used by the tax paying public. Yet the administration seems only interested in how many private tournaments they can have. More private tournaments than any other coarse.As an example we have a holiday weekend this Labor Day. This coarse has private tournaments on both Saturday and Sunday which keeps the tax paying public from getting any decent tee times. Again this is a PUBLIC coarse for the paying public.
This course is in excellent condition and is an awesome value and experience!!
Another great day playing Golf
As a single I usually end up with good players of similar abilities as mine. I play to an 8 HDCP and the twosome and single that joined me were all about 10-13. Had a good day.
Excellent condition
Course conditions were excellent during our round. This is an interesting and somewhat challenging course, especially from the blue tees. It's also very walkable. Regrettably 18 is a disappointing finishing hole which adds a bit of tarnish to an otherwise excellent course. The driving range, however, is in terrible shape. The grass portion of the range seems to be on an indefinite closure and the mats are worn and warped. It's difficult to understand this neglect when the course and the clubhouse are all maintained to a high standard..
Lots of trees. Nice layout.
All was good. Greens were a little rough in spots.
Underrated course
This course is quite challenging. There are many hazards to go over & around. You'll see when you play. Definitely an underrated course..
