About
The Gold Course from Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills is the only 18-hole course at the facility. Designed by Frank Hummel, the course opened in 1959 and used to include the 9 holes of the Blue Course as the front nine. Currently however, both the Gold and the Blue are separate courses. The landscape of the Gold is hilly and seven ponds create a beautiful atmosphere while also adding challenging water hazards to eleven holes. Although the entire course is scenic, the 12th hole is considered to have the most picturesque views. Its elevated tee offers gorgeous vistas of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills is known not only for its gorgeous scenery, it has also received acclaim from golf publications such as Golf Digest.

Golf cart
Golf cart did not have the GPS tablet attached. Didn't notice it was missing until we were down the 1st fairway. Because of the group behind us, it was too late to turn around to exchange carts. Lack of fairway markers required club selection to take a little more time.

Great course as always. Would have liked to have seen the drink cart more.
It was a nice course, wide open, and met expectations—staff...not so much.
This is the first club in my career that didn't include a sleeve of balls with rented clubs. I also didn't use the rented clubs (I shared my partner's clubs) due to a mix of Left- and Right-handed clubs and two putters in the bag, which were both Left-handed (I'm right-handed). After bringing this to their attention, they offered no refund for the clubs.
I will not recommend or go back to this course.

I really enjoyed playing here. Great layout and real friendly people there. The clubhouse is nice and the course was in great shape!
Great value for seniors
We played on a Friday morning which normally is considered weekend for pricing purposes, however we received a substantial senior discount. For a very reasonable price we received our round and a cart with a great GPS. The course was in good condition and the the refreshment/restroom building at the turn was great. Overall a fun outing on a nice course.
Fun course!! We played as a foursome. The course was full, but we never really waited much. Finished in just over 4 hrs
Slow, again
After two times playing this course, I have come to the conclusion that it just plays slow. We played on a Tuesday the first time - 5+ hours, then on a Wednesday - 4.5+ hours. No marshall on the course to hurry-up play, but you frequently get an annoying GPS message advising how far behind pace you are - even when you can't do anything about it.
