Eighteen is an interesting finisher. For some it is driveable, but the tee shot must be laser-straight. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/20/2024

Beautiful course
As for the course itself, top notch and challenging as well. With the restaurant being closed it, the lack of food and drinks does put a damper on any round.

Nice drive
Came from an hour away. Course was in great shape. Greens were just punched, but not too bad. Great GN discount. Challenging layout for a first timer. We will be back.
Thanks so much for the great review, augie42. We look forward to welcoming you back to our course soon. Thanks for choosing Twin Hills Country Club.

Only maybe play with a deep discount when it is busy
Good stuff:
- Greens were in good condition and with enough undulations to make a decent read necessary and require a bit of forethought on the approach shot.
- Clubhouse staff was friendly and helpful when my tee time reservation was bungled.
Mediocre stuff:
- My tee time reservation was bungled. Made an early weekday tee time (7:48) as a single joining a threescore and somehow that wasn't available when I arrived. Ended up having to go out 15 minutes early aa a single. That didn't bother me much as I was just there to check out a course I has never seen before, but could have posed problems.
- Tee boxes are hit or miss
- Pace of play looked a bit worrisome. I managed to play through a couple of groups and finish quickly, but I saw groups that arrived at the course when I teed off still on the front nine when I finished. I'd be leery of booking here after 8 or 9 a.m
- Layout was OK. I'm not a big fan of par 5 holes that realistically call for a couple of long irons to set up your approach, but there is 1 on the front nine. But other holes provided an opportunity to balance risk and reward from tee box which kept me interested. This being my first time, I didn't usually choose wisely
Not Good Stuff
- Nearly all the fairways were poor. Significant cart damage combined with poor drainage was prevalent. Getting from the tee box to the green was a bit of a slog. Yes, it has been a rainy early spring, but compared to other area courses, the fairways were sub par.

Twin Hills is the best value golf course in CT
I play here all the time but it rained the day before my first time out this year. The fairways held up really well against the rain. The greens were perfect and always roll so true. The overall look of the course is gorgeous and it isn’t ridiculously expensive. They offer a driving range thats close to the first tee and a challenging putting/chipping area. The staff is always very friendly. The tee boxes had a ton of divots though but I can imagine they have had a ton of players because the season just started.

Nice course
Love playing here. Course is challenging and staff is great. Zac is a good pro and very helpful.
Great course
My brother in law came up to CT to visit so while our wives went to get their nails done we went golfing with our daughters ( 15 months and 7 months old) we pushed them in their stroller while carrying our bags and it was perfect. It was a chilly day but the sun came out a little bit to warm us all up a little bit. The course was a little damp due to the recent rain we had which is no issue at all. All and all it was a great day and nobody cared that we were pushing our daughters in their strollers, it was actually a hit out on the course. I live about 8 minutes away so I will definitely be back, it is one of the nicer courses in this area. Thank you for a great daddy daughter day on the course Twin Hills!!
Great staff in the club house.
Zac , the head pro, very friendly and approachable.
We had a question involving a rule and he was quick and spot on with the answer. Very knowledgeable.
Will definitely play there again.

Hello. We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. We would love to know how we can earn those last two stars next time! Thanks for playing Twin Hills Country Club.
Spectacular day and the greatest carts.
I have never seen any golf carts as nice as these. Leather individually made seats that were the
Most comfortable. The steering was also fantastic. The nicest Yamaha carts I’ve ever seen at any course.
One of my favorites
The course was in great shape as always...the greens were rolling so nice and the pace of play was excellent... Another beautiful afternoon at Twin Hills with the boys!!!
Always enjoy Twin Hills
a few rough spots due to all the rain. Pace a little slow but not a problem. Nice course, good value.
