Good course
Shares fairways with back 9 and mosquitoes are horrible
Unique but limited.
This course has a lot of potential but I see problems on the horizon. They are building an awesome clubhouse that will be top notch once finished. The course is rough around the edges. Cart paths and landscape are still under construction. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are all above average though. The design will be a nightmare on busy days though. Sharing fairways is tough to do on a busy course. On lighter days the course is fun and challenging. A little shorter than average, but enjoyable.
Cool concept with fast greens
Cool little golf course with two sets of tees two different greens and a shared fairway.
Drive out to Baytown and play the course he won’t be disappointed
Hidden gem
This course will be one of my favorite places to play. It’s a course made to get your game dialed in. Just tough enough to challenge your skill set especially the greens. Super fast. Expect the unexpected when you get there and be patient with the lay out.. after that it’s all good.
Slow play and less than average conditions
I saw some good reviews on GN for the course so I decided to give it a shot. Started out good on the first hole. Got to the second hole and came to an immediate stop due to a 6some on the 2nd green. Thankfully they allowed me to play through on the third hole. I quickly ran into another slow some on the very next hole and they would not allow me to play through, it seemed that they deliberately were taking their sweet time, even looking back times as if daring me to hit up on them. They finally decided to let me play through on the 8th hole after they hit 4 tee shots each . The course conditions were less than average. Most of the greens were hard but receptive. The bunkers were mostly hard pan with dirt instead of sand. If you were even a yard off the fairway you would be in rough that was about 6” tall. The whole time I was playing I had to be mindful of tee shots from other holes since a lot of the holes play parallel to each other. I have to say I liked the course much better back when it was Evergreen Pointe. I cannot see myself coming back. This course is best suited for beginner golfers.
New layout, great greens, no mosquitoes
Got a great rate on Golf Now so decided to see how course had changed. What a change for the better!! New 9 hole layout with two separate tee boxes and two separate greens. Price includes range balls and carts have GPS plus greens are by far the best around for this time of year. Club house renovation is complete and grill/eating area almost done, looks amazing.
Fun course
Great course but you need to bring your own cooler with water and drinks and you are good to go!
