Overall good
Course has a nice layout and is more challenging than it seems. Must be very accurate with shots and have proper club selection and course management.
The two negatives our group noticed was pace of play was not maintained by a group which caused a big backup. Secondly, the greens were impossibly firm. The ball could land straight down in the middle of the green and shoot off the back. No ball mark repair tool necessary.

We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon on the course with little interaction due to great safety precautions. So happy they opened the course and look forward to going back soon! Thank you to the staff for making it happen!

Poor shape
Greens were in terrible shape. Extremely long and sandy. Tee boxes very hard, patchy, and uneven. Odd for this place since it usually used to be in good shape.

Yardage markers / sprinkler heads
Second time playing here since 2016 and the immediate recollection of yardage markers reminded me why I stayed away.
This course is SO poorly marked for yardages it’s embarrassing. Feel like playing a round completely blind and consistently guessing? Enjoy.
Teeing grounds...complete joke. No identifiable obvious markers unless you find a needle in a haystack and...yup...158. Great. It this to the Middle? Front? Back?
Fairway sprinkler heads...zilch. Shows such a lack of basic golf course operations.
They seem to take payments like a fine tuned machine...imagine putting 1/10th of that efficiency into presenting a properly marked golf course.
GM / Head pro and all staff should be embarrassed sending out PAYING customers.
There’s several terrific companies who will create detailed and accurate yardage guides that...wait for it...you can monetize and profit from. What a novel idea.
Never again...will NOT recommend to anyone.
Fun course
First time playing. Family lives on the course but I never had the opportunity to play there. Great 9 hole outing with my grandson. Definitely would play again and go all 18.
Nice but aerated greens ruined the round
Been playing Whitney for years. Course is in very nice shape. Before booking through the GolfNow website, I wish we were told that greens were just aerated. The amount of sand on the greens really made it not a good experience. To pay summer prices for these conditions was not right, especially on a weekday. I’m sure the course will be nice in two weeks, but until then, I would steer clear until the greens fill in or you get a GolfNow Hot Deal.
Good course
Played my birthday round here because courses in NJ were closed. Played with 2 nice older gentlemen, pace of play was good and condition of course was good
Hidden Gem
Great place to play. Staff is always friendly. Course is always in great shape.
