Whitney Farms
Course is in very good condition. Very narrow tree-lined fairways on most holes that make club selection and shot placement very important. Greens are also a bit challenging with varying undulations. Would play it again and highly recommend it, good test for any skilled player.
Works for all Golfers
A pretty challenging course, uncrowded and well kept.
great day
Really enjoyed playing the course conditions were perfect the course in good condition.
Pin Placement
WOW! We play this course a few times a year. The course and greens are in excellent condition. Our only negative was the pin placement on at least 9 of the holes today. They were so difficult that the Pros would certainly complain. Great course and we of course will be back.
Interesting and challenging course! Gem!
Very fun, challenging round. Course and greens in excellent shape. Friendly staff too. Complex green matched with beautiful vistas. A hidden gem in Monroe, with an excellent value. Plan to return many times.
5 somes
got placed behind a 5some.... extremely slow and not very good golfers.... had to skip a hole to pass them... never got a chance to go back and play the skipped hole due to high school match that was just going out...
Average course for the area.
Course isn’t bad. Club house and bathrooms are run down though.
Great track, but bumpy greens
Awesome layout, challenging but fair. Greens are undulating but were a little bumpy as of mid-May. I would imagine when they fully recover from aeration this place will be even more fun. Generally very well maintained. Would definitely would recommend.
Enjoyable round
Three of us played and enjoyed a sub 4 hour round in weather that was a bit grey and cool. The course was in good shape and the greens were well groomed. It’s still early in the year and because of all the rain there were some muddy areas of the course. I recommend this course. It is challenging and lots of interesting holes.
Spring golf still enjoyable
The course is getting into good shape. Should be fine in a few more weeks after the aeration holes fill in.
Early in season. Need some maintenance. Also was aerated. The one real issue I had that after couple years now they still do not provide enough water to the players. Unless you bring your own or drive back to the club you only have one container in the back and one in the front!
Aeration Day
I play this course all the time, its a great course, but this day they aerated all the greens just before we got there and I'm most cases didn't have time to sand and complete the job.
I think this is a problem with Golf Now not informing us of this in advance, probably because we would have never plaid the course this day.
but in general this is a good course, but you need to stay inbounds!
Coming back in the summer
Interesting course with plenty of variety. Uphill and downhill holes, short and long holes, dogleg left right and straightaway holes. The course was very wet from a soaking rain two days earlier... and the greens were still brown from the winter.
I’m definitely coming back once the course firms up and greens up. I think I’ll likely enjoy it more the second time around.
