First round of the 2018 season
Whitney Farms is a good layout.
Each hole is different and challenging.
Would sure be nice to have some water to drink on the course!!!
1st for the year
Course was in great shape and was happy with the pace of play on 1st really warm spring day. Course has great layout and many holes play longer than you think and many unique challenges. Great course for intermediate or above golfer.
Great value
Good option to get out and play a decent course for not too much.
Season Opener
The day was windy and raw with a slight mist in the air. The greens were bumpy fairways not yet growing and most of the traps playable. Since it was the first time out just needed the practice and exercise.
Whitney
Course was in good shape for beginning of the year especially coming off a cold winter and a below average spring.
The course plays approximately 6200 yards from the white tees and has one par 5 that plays about 560 yards which can be tough to get home in 3 especially with wind in your face.
I find the greens here are the toughest that I play anywhere as there very seldom is a straight putt and there is quite a bit of undulation on most of the greens.
early windy and cold
played on a windy cold day in April- restaurant was not open but that was understandable given the weather and the few people on the course-- course lays out well- some very long holes and generally a tight course- greens are tough and pin placement was challenging-- would love to play on a warmer day later in the year. if i hadn't already pre paid i would not have played--
Very Early Spring Round
Course was in Great condition for such an early round with snow still on the course in places. Was misting for some of the round. Like the course very much but a few times have either got paired with Grumpy people or this last time the Foursome would not let a twosome play through. Staff has always been friendly but seems like maybe Members don't like visitors to play the course...
For a Muni, well worth it.

great day
Considering a 45 degree day, very windy and not knowing the course, we had an enjoyable day. Staff was very friendly and courteous. The course was in good shape (winter is here), the leaves were cleaned out of the fairways and we were very happy with the conditions. We'll be back.
Thanksgiving round
It was a nice day and course was in great shape for 11/25. Only drawback was being a twosome behind a 4some. When they let us play through we ran into a 5some that didn’t let us play through. No rangers or anyone to be seen to regulate.
Great Local course
Conditions still great for tis time of year and amount of play! Staff very accommodating, great grounds crew and have heard great reviews of the Pro from numerous persons that have played with. Pace of play depends on tee off time but is worth the time. Definitely recommend, you need to experience Hole #15!
Excellent greens quite undulating for a pub links.
Fun and challenging
Heard about this course from a friend decided to check it out when a deal popped up. Worth the price I paid and the ride for me.
End of Year Maintenance
Course is in pretty good shape and there are some areas where they are improving conditions so these areas are a bit rough and under construction. Once these "acclimate" conditions will be 1st rate.
For a Muni, well worth it.
played several times this year and each one well worth it. good fairways and greens and the staff very friendly. highly recommend this muni.
